Rodents/Cats carrying Black plague and infecting man.. With pics. Outbreak soon?

A 59-year-old man is out of hospital after spending a month in intensive care due to infection from the bubonic plague.
Paul Gaylord, 59, developed the symptoms after he was bitten by a stray cat his family had adopted.
The cat, named Charlie, had caught a rodent which was stuck in his throat. It is thought that the rat was infected by fleas, which carry the disease.

Hopefully the cat was caught. And there are no more rodents with the plague. Could get ugly fast.

in CERTAIN areas world wide including the USA,there are a handful of cases every year.

this guy's story is bizarre as he claims a cat was choking on a mouse,so he went to help out the cat...and the cat bites him--so how the hell does a choking cat BITE ?
never mind he shot the cat etc.
supposedly his house is in bad shape and has mice.

the disease is carried by infected fleas and spread by rodents.

It happens all the time and they have to close parts or parks down because of outbreaks in the animal populations

The Black Death was not bubonic plague and it had NOTHING to do with rats or fleas. A different disease altogether, something far more lethal.
