As one of the brightest stars in the sky, Arcturus has been significant to observers since antiquity. In Mesopotamia, it was linked to the god Enlil

Then the bit with the gesalt pertaining to noise as well.

Re: X Marks the Spot
..............The scientific papers announcing the discovery termed the phenomenon a ‘super-aurora,’ implying the Sun was responsible, and dated sometime about the end of the last ice age.

However, it confirmed other converging evidence that globally, ancient peoples identified certain planets with a dreadful weapon called the ‘thunderbolt of the gods.’ The many descriptions and artistic representations of these ‘thunderbolts’ showed they were high-energy plasma discharges. Those now distant planets were associated with chaos and terror on Earth. Certain planets were also depicted in a closely spaced ‘grand conjunction’ that is impossible in a gravity-only universe but was chiselled by the thousands into rock.

The Sun was not responsible for the ‘super-auroras.’

All the evidence supported an earlier analysis that we are the descendants of deeply traumatised survivors of prehistoric celestial ‘doomsday’ experiences. Those cataclysms seemed to trigger the mysterious sudden rise of the first civilizations. The events were memorialized in the early religions and prodigious architecture and monuments; and they were re-enacted in destructive wars. The mysterious stories of planetary gods battling in the heavens with thunderbolts is dismissed today without a second thought because it doesn’t fit the comforting myth of an electrically sterile, Newtonian clockwork planetary system wound up billions of years ago. Yet in the 21st century we still instinctively inflict war and senseless destruction while invoking those forgotten planetary gods. Perhaps the most important lesson from the Electric Universe is societal. Healing the compulsion to revisit doomsday-inspired insanity requires that we face the reality of our chaotic past on this planet.

The implications for science, the humanities, and our future survival are profound.

Re: X Marks the Spot
What is it going to take to tip out the old beliefs? Change can occur slowly from the bottom up or rapidly from the top down. Unfortunately, forces from the top tend to favour stasis over change. Modern science has become a monolithic structure funded by governments and tied to political outcomes. Radical change is arguably more difficult to achieve in such a situation than at any time in the past. Funding of dissident scientists is not available, their publication in leading science journals disallowed by the anonymous peer review system and their careers jeopardized. Meanwhile the media lazily accept what they are fed by ‘experts.’

It is perhaps a fitting irony that the Internet, which was built for communication between scientists, now provides the means to bypass censors to reach a global audience. Powerful news organizations are finding this to their great discomfort. So while the emperors of science strut their nakedness, scholars from many disciplines have been converging on a new science called the Electric Universe, which offers an unparalleled scientific and cultural Renaissance. morning guys/gals
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

He did a research and wrote a book on it. Not sure how good that video is.

The Omega Project. He was one of the first researchers to begin linking the altered states into one semblance of manifestation. Or, he was doing so with the research he decided on.

From Library Journal
Ring, author of Life at Death (Quill: Morrow, 1982), compares the experiences of UFO abductees to the out-of-body journeys of those near death. Initially, his title seems misleading. He mixes a few archetypes and fairy tales with some philosophy and religion, the result of which is a theory regarding the "encounter-prone personality." This type of person represents the spiritual evolution of humankind, people who are tapped into the "Mind at Large"--i.e., a creative, helpful force that will assist us in saving ourselves and our planet from destruction. This book differs from other UFO material in that the question of whether the encounters are real or not is not at issue. The symbolism is what matters, e.g. abductees usually report receiving a physical examination from the aliens. Ring sees this as a warning that we need to examine and to heal ourselves. Loaded with case histories of near-death experiences and UFO encounters, questionnaires, and impressive notes and bibliography, this will appeal to general readers.

Re: X Marks the Spot

That is a very interesting statement. I've never even glimpsed that concept, and it doesn't feel right now that I have.

Gravitational systems are essentially chaotic.

There is some missing information when understanding that last paragraph. I think I have it. Magnetic fields form shape. Gravity does not. Therefor magnetic fields are order, while gravity fields are chaos.

Chaos is too strong a word in my opinion. I suppose that is why they said 'essentially' chaotic. If gravitational systems do not 'shape' the fields (magnetism), then they are not designing the order of bodies.

Thread: Magnetism not only Powers the most Energetic form of Light in the known Universe, but Structures it out of Chaos.
 Quoting: Septenary Man

yes
the chaos reference is directly linked to gravity universe
our planets orbits around our sun do not match gravity "law" that the "law" demands they must be
they are chaotic under gravity law as in:
make no sense

Re: X Marks the Spot
there is a reason

Regardless of the earlier references to the family of regular polyhedra and their significance in life's architecture on a moving, spherical earth, humans had latched onto the cube as the main building block of mathematics. For Fuller, the 90 degree angles of the cube were a side effect or "precessional effect" of various processes in a universe of angles, curves and arcs. His cube was inscribed by the duotet, two interpenetrating tetrahedra whose eight outer points met cube's eight vertices and gave it an inherent stability.

The agenda to watch...

For example, I grew up in a religious home. It was made known to me early on that God 'watches' everything. A bit like Santa.

As a child I would often think on this, wondering how God (Santa) could watch all those people at the same time.

Believing that 'angels' instead were the watchers, I then set my mind to figuring how they watched.

It seems the internet makes a good medium to do so.
