Well, I can tell you with first hand experience that fear of anothers wrath due to any perceived slight is nonproductive and creates a group bound to serve the whims of another without question or regard to ones own growth.

Even if one knows the other is wrong, they must remain silent less they incur the wrath.

How is that productive?

Any question that starts out with "Why was God..." is one that is meant to be unanswered...

Trick question...

Tricks are for...?
 Quoting: Aluna

My problem is with eternal damnation. God is said to be all loving and forgiving if asked with a sincere heart.

So the idea of damnation seems to be a contradiction.

I suppose the slight was going against 'God's Will' which the Watchers were not allowed Free Will as man was.

Thus the 'slight'.

It just reminds me of total domination as far as, do what I say, or suffer eternally.

It seems one would always be walking on eggshells afraid of 'messing up'.

As they only gave us the tools to use against ourselves.

THE ABODE OF THE BLESSED.

The Egyptian Heaven.

The Gods of the Egyptians dwelt in a heaven with their ka's, and khu's, and shadows, and there they received the blessed dead to dwell with them. This heaven was situated in the sky, which the Egyptians believed to be like an iron ceiling, either flat or vaulted, and to correspond in extent and shape with the earth beneath it. This ceiling was rectangular, and was supported at each corner by a pillar;

Me? No...but you're familiar with things like channeling and remote viewing...think it didn't exist back then? And our environment (local environment/atmosphere etc) was all different so our modern day rationalizations over how they were built and by who are slightly off.
