Re: X Marks the Spot
Whatever comes your way, any of you, just be your self. If you question, then figure out what your self is, and what you are capable of. Remember, you have not pushed yourself far enough if you have not fucked up numerous times.

Do not lock yourself into agenda. Make your ideologies mold-able until you figure out your self. Do not hold yourself to your own words. It is ok to change your words when you have changes come along that change you.

Experience and divine wisdom from the experiences. Listen and gain knowledge from listening. Act and experience the wisdom gained from listening to knowledge received.

Only that way, will knowledge received be wisdom gained and change amongst your lips be interchangeable to ideologies once believed.

All exterior influences interact with your own sphere of influence. Make sure it is your own sphere of influence, and not a persuasion of someone elses.

Figure it out. Take your time. Adjust. Integrate. Create your own self. Be wary. Be loved.

...but stand your ground.

i`m settling into an environment that did not exist for me to detect several days ago
the ingredients were here but their collective affect was not noticeable
now it has become so and we know our noticeable emotions are prompted by the environment we inhabit thus i suggest our environment has noticeably altered tounge
 Quoting: aether

It's strange. The environment changes, we are changing, it is wrapped around motive/emotions. When others are close to me friendship wise, and bring up certain topics which we all struggle with in understanding properly - though it is in discussion form, not questioning form...

It makes me question numerous things, things as small as, "OK, why did he bring that up out of the blue?", much less the deeper meanings of 'things'.

Or maybe you just need some good prompts. What makes you want to talk, rant about past events? Talking about maybe. Or find a movie that has the same feel to you.
 Quoting: Metatron Phi

Morning, Phi.

Hmmm. What makes me want to rant? That is a good question. Sometimes I just wake up in a foul mood.

I think the problem is that I only have one layer of what it takes to write a novel. I have a theme. But to tell a good story, one has to have a great character. I don't want this character to be too much like me.

Perhaps I need to incorporate some of the emotional elements that are currently driving me.

Perhaps the character needs to come from a wealthy family and have his father die during the sequence of events. Perhaps the sequence needs to be changed. I haven't worked it out yet.
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

I see it like this... You can tune your emotion with music. If you want to be happy, play music that makes you feel happy. It also works with movies. It is why I like anime. The Japanese think, develop their characters. So just watch a few movies, or youtube the character feel. Then get ready to write ;-)

I see what you are saying, Phi. The story I am attempting to write at the moment is about a man who goes through a psychotic break. As he is descending into this break, bizarre things start to occur to him and reinforce and shape his evolving delusional state of mind.

That is my theme.

However, I need another layer to this character. I don't want him to have a love interest. This story isn't about love. It is about logic and reason, the infinite mystery of the universe, and mental illness with all of it's stigma's and baggage.

Although I do think that I do need to have my feelings in the zone when I write this....I haven't decided exactly how to write it yet.

My father was a successful musician in the 60's. He and his band opened for many well know bands.

Janis Joplin for example.

He told me many years ago, that when he and his band would play this song in a 'battle of the band' type showoff, they would always win.

My father would always sing around the house, but not loudly. I have always imagined him singing this, like he did in his youth.

Thanks for that pi...

Imagine having a 'schizoid' phenotype...

We can choose to let the 'bad thoughts' out, in one form or another, or, we can continually take all of them unto ourselves...

With the latter, the hatred and frustration will eventually become a demonic blade that can rip through the steeliest resolve...

So: "Two-Spirit", at its most basic level, is a way to internalize release of 'bad thoughts'.

Jim Vieira lectured in Amherst, Massachusetts 3 days ago about ancient giants unearthed by archaeologists attached to the Smithsonian up into the 1940's this stuff was being reported in the major press!... Now... a total black out. The bones are missing from collections. He also discusses ancient mound structures and strange stonework. Great amount of photos of skulls, bones, skeletons, and things not seen by the public in a hundred years! A Giant Surprise - Jim Vieira:

Jim gave a TED Talk back in November discussing these giants unearthed by the thousands, in news reports, Smithsonian reports, science journals etc. His video got 118,000 views and was the most watched TED video, before TED decided to pull it off the internet -- effectively censoring him. Their reasons were ridiculous. Whatever one may think of mystery stone ruins, and giants, they are clearly a part of our history the powers that be DO NOT want you to know about!

Abydos, Egypt

Abydos is one of the oldest cities of ancient Egypt, and also of the eighth nome in Upper Egypt, of which it was the capital city. It is located about 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) west of the Nile at latitude 26° 10' N, near the modern Egyptian towns of el-'Araba el Madfuna and al-Balyana. The city was called Abdju in the ancient Egyptian language (3bdw or AbDw as technically transcribed from hieroglyphs) meaning "the hill of the symbol or reliquary", a reference to a reliquary in which the sacred head of Osiris was preserved.

Abydos was occupied by the rulers of the Predynastic period, whose town, temple and tombs have been found there.

The Predynastic Period is traditionally equivalent to the Neolithic period, beginning ca. 6000 BC and including the Protodynastic Period
 Quoting: observation

The Archaic or Early Dynastic Period of Egypt immediately follows the unification of Lower and Upper Egypt c. 3100 BC. It generally taken to include the First and Second Dynasties, lasting from the Protodynastic Period of Egypt until about 2686 BC, or the beginning of the Old Kingdom. With the First Dynasty, the capital moved from Abydos to Memphis with a unified Egypt ruled by an Egyptian god-king.

Re: X Marks the Spot
i`ll place the following in the blonde moment box

you remember that our younger but ancient to us ancestors cultures inherited a system of monuments consisting of mounts and ley lines

the roman empire, as all our young cultures formed it`s own beliefs expressed in art, architecture, symbolism etc. on the mounts and over the ley lines (straight roads) to impose their way

the romans were more aware than us today, being nearer to the time the awareness of this information was expressed within our egyptian culture and they were vigilant for any signs of ancient awareness of this inherited but unknown to them purpose, use of the system

our older ancestors interaction with non material energy (magic) associated with the system was known to include unusual use of hands and feet by those whom utilized this magic ability

today that is called tensegrity in physics (invisible architecture} and the practice still manifests within many cultures

Tensegrity is the name given to the modern version of the Magical Passes and the fluid and energetically efficient way of being—the path with heart

the roman empire was very wary of any person expressing signs that they were of our very ancient ancestors nature so anyone utilizing mounts (sacred sites) to express themselves and magical passes (miracles to the unaware) were a worry to the empire as without exception, the lifestyle expressed by our ancient ancestor was quite different to the one imposed by the empire

the empire placed those whom expressed ancient ancestor awareness on crosses either along the roads (ley lines) or on the mounts (sacred sites) with nails in their feet and hands as a warning to all that the empire controlled the magic and no other would be tolerated
