You guys rock (:

Posting that flower of life image just made me remember I wanted to study more about the antahkarana, maybe I should do that!
 Quoting: 1908247

Antahkarana

In Hindu philosophy, the antahkaran (Sanskrit: the inner cause) refers to the totality of two levels of mind, namely the buddhi, the intellect or higher mind, and the manas, the middle levels of mind which (according to theosophy) exist as or include the mental body. Antahkarana has also been called the link between the middle and higher mind, the reincarnating part of the mind.

Re: X Marks the Spot
about 150 years ago electricity was discovered

Electricity would remain little more than an intellectual curiosity for millennia until 1600, when the English scientist William Gilbert made a careful study of electricity and magnetism, distinguishing the lodestone effect from static electricity produced by rubbing amber. He coined the New Latin word electricus ("of amber" or "like amber", from [elektron], the Greek word for "amber") to refer to the property of attracting small objects after being rubbed. This association gave rise to the English words "electric" and "electricity", which made their first appearance in print in Thomas Browne's Pseudodoxia Epidemica of 1646.......................

..............Electricity and magnetism (and light) were definitively linked by James Clerk Maxwell, in particular in his "On Physical Lines of Force" in 1861 and 1862.

While the early 19th century had seen rapid progress in electrical science, the late 19th century would see the greatest progress in electrical engineering. Through such people as Nikola Tesla, Galileo Ferraris, Oliver Heaviside, Thomas Edison, Ottó Bláthy, Ányos Jedlik, Sir Charles Parsons, Joseph Swan, George Westinghouse, Ernst Werner von Siemens, Alexander Graham Bell and Lord Kelvin, electricity turned from a scientific curiosity into an essential tool for modern life, becoming a driving force of the Second Industrial Revolution.
 Quoting: observation

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

what this tells us is all of our beliefs before 150 years ago did not include the possibility of electricity being within the imagination of all that believed

we possess not 1 single imaginative thought prior to 150 years ago that incorporates electricity within the thought

nothing /z\

to place that into scale
our entire universe (environment) has been discovered to be electrical in it`s nature and design

thus it can not be overstated how different in reality our reality has become since we noticed this primordial ingredient in all reality

Re: X Marks the Spot
i have noticed something
the prime reason many people like things to remain a mystery is because when something is a real memory of worry in the minds of many for unknown cause
it feels good to many to indicate the same unknown cause is returning thus making themselves feel "good" at the expense of other peoples discomfort upon hearing the news

yes
this is the main resistance to disclosure/explanation of an uncomfortable memory people possess of unknown cause
remove the mystery from the cause thus all people know in practical terms what is the cause of their ancestral uncomfortable memory and what is there left with which to force people in to fear of consequences if they do not do what they are told with threat of the mystery cause returning
it is a mystery cause
thus
whom can say it will not return
or
even more basic
take away the mystery and what is left for those whom manage society within the difficulties of mystery for and on behalf of people whom are "grateful" to be led within an environment of mystery if there is no mystery

or
nothing stops anyone declaring the return of mystery thus get an emotional uplift pro rata to the affect their telling prompts within those they tell
remove the mystery and how do they experience their emotional "high" from other with no mystery to foretell

i never saw that /z\ before today tounge

Well worth the watch, ladies. And men, if your watching, you should all be required to try this. Just remember what you've been told.......Although it'll be the worst pain you've felt in your life, you'll forget it afterwards.

While I didn't find it funny, I do find the experiment quite telling.

I was not under the impression that labor pains could be simulated on a man, but there it was. Or at least something similar.

Very interesting to watch them go through the stages. With one giving up after an hour.

Saturn Is Closest to Earth on Sunday: See It Live Online

The best view of Saturn available to Earth dwellers in six years should be on Sunday (April 28), with the planet reaching its opposition point, when Earth lies directly between it and the sun.

You can watch the celestial show live online via the Slooh Space Camera, which will be broadcasting a feed from its telescopes in Spain's Canary Islands. You can watch the Saturn webcast live on SPACE.com beginning at 9:30 p.m. EDT on Sunday (0130 GMT Monday).

The giant planet should put on a spectacular show, with its famous icy rings tilted at a perfect angle for viewing. During Saturn's close approach to Earth, the planet will be exceptionally bright, reaching about the same brightness as famous stars such as Betelgeuse. The ringed giant should be visible all night long on April 27 and 28, and its shadow will fall so that neither the east nor west side of the rings is darkened.

In earlier times man worshipped heavenly bodies as gods. Myths proclaim, "We once lived in the presence of the gods". These gods were visible powers, often capricious, and frequently violent. The priestly astronomers of ancient Mesopotamia and elsewhere make clear that these remarkable powers were planets. If the myths surrounding these gods are to be taken seriously, they raise many questions. Why did ancient man worship the god Saturn? how interesting Seer, I had thoughts regarding men giving birth, I believe that was last night.. I wasn't remembering this thought and it came like "wow I was thinking about that yesterday". But there was something that initiated that thought sequence that I can no longer remember.

hmm

Perhaps it was related to the different duties of father and mother, as I was watching the movie Courageous yesterday, a very good movie I must add! A nice script with great meaning and on top of that you have adrenaline from action scenes and very funny scenes with the mexican dude Javier. I didn't think I could have so much fun with a 'religious' kind of movie

I'd suggest you to watch it anyday you got time, if you haven't already. (:

we feel it
the emotional touch of our ancient archetypes
and
we must remember that our ancients all experienced the same thing over a very long time, truly global in affect
thus
unlike our young archetypes which have never arisen outside of their location on our planets surface and have always experiences the boundaries of other local archetypes
when saturn arises
it embraces (overshadows) all young archetypes because saturn is global in design thus by nature touches all things
a whole different sensation within our environment is the affect upon many people

Re: X Marks the Spot
example /z\

Attempting to apply such standards, Masse examined a worldwide sample of flood myths in 175 different cultures all over the world (most gathered and reported by noted anthropologist Sir James George Frazer in the early 1900s)--representing about 15% of the "great flood" myths that have been published in English. He hypothesized that if these myths reflected a single worldwide cataclysm, then the information encoded in them--the environmental aspects of the flood that they describe--should form a pattern across cultures that is consistent with a single event. Collectively they should create a plausible description of the event as experienced in different parts of the world, and that description should be consistent with archaeological and geophysical data. He analyzed his 175 myths with this hypothesis in mind, and found that "only a globally catastrophic deep-water oceanic comet impact can account for all the environmental information encoded in the corpus of worldwide flood myths."
Tsunamis and Rainstorms

The majority of the myths describe a torrential, long-duration rainstorm, in many cases accompanied by a huge tsunami. The water is often described as hot, sometimes coming as hot ocean swells, sometimes as burning rain. The described durations of the flood storm in the various myths, when plotted, form a bell-shaped curve with the great majority clustering between four and ten days. Tsunamis are described as extending between 15 and 100 km inland. Survivors typically find refuge in places between 150 and 300 meters above sea level.

Supernatural creatures are associated with the flood storm in nearly half the cases Masse studied. Typical are giant snakes or water serpents, giant birds, giant horned snakes, a fallen angel, a star with fiery tail, a tongue of fire, and similar elongated things in or from the sky. Looking in detail at descriptions in the mythology, particularly those of the Indian subcontinent, Masse sees a close resemblance to the naked-eye appearance of a near-earth post-perihelion comet.

Yes.

Around and around.

Time stretches. My days of late last on average what feels like 3 days.

A distinct beginning(Day 1), middle (day 2), and end (day 3).

I have grown use the the phenomena, and I expect it has something to do with the longer days and more Sunlight.

But I suspect something else as well.

Some readers will have problems with accepting these scientific facts and the author hopes that it will lead the skeptical reader to further research in order to connect to the huge volume of scientific evidence that exists for each of the following four postulates.

Curiosity is the best antidote to fear - so stay curious and connect the dots.

1) Consciousness comes before mass
Through many years scientists in the fields of neurology, quantum physics, cosmology, biology, ancient history, religion and philosophy has shown that consciousness comes before mass. In quantum physics it is called "the unified field" (UF) - an energy field of potential and intelligence - as the underlying and overarching of all being. UF has no mass, and UF can perhaps best be understood as a dimension, namely the fifth dimension - which surrounds and includes the first four dimensions that we know so well. UF shows us that everything is based on thoughts, and that we are one with UF, and thus with everything else (alive) in the universe. The evidence for these facts is so overwhelming that the burden of proof now must be said to lie with those who do not recognize it.

2) The essence of consciousnesses is curiosity
The prerequisite for all creation, for all creative thought and for creating mental/thinking momentum is Curiosity.
Albert Einstein said : "Curiosity has it own reason for existence" and "Never loose a holy curiosity"
This showed us that Einstein knew that curiosity is something "outside" our material world and that it is an independent cause. Furthermore, he showed us in the comment about not losing a "holy curiosity" that curiosity is the essence of creation - perhaps creation itself.

3) Cosmos / Universe is alive
As under 1, we have a mountain of scientific evidence showing logical, practical, psychical, systemic and mathematical correlations between the smallest and largest. There are striking similarities in the human biological system, the Earth system, solar system, galaxy and universe. Events, patterns and scientific measurements converge to an extent that leads to the inescapable conclusion that "cosmos is alive" and that we are a (very important) part of this.

Also cosmos clearly works using computational principles, and our "reality" is greatly supported and created through this - so there is a new perception level developing as to how we understand information technology and systems.

4) We are in the middle of a large, mental polarity shift, a 180 degree shift
The above points means that we are going to completely redefine ourselves 180 degrees opposite to the prevailing definition, or rather we will grow "into" the next dimension, especially because a logical analysis of the above and its logical consequences tell us we are non-material beings experiencing, and not just 3 dimensional physical bodies with the brain in an ocean of random events.
One of the more intriguing findings of the above is the fact that coincidences do not exist, or as Farraday wrote to Oersted "coincidence favors the prepared mind."

The internet is the driving force for this change.

Ahead of us lies the task of identifying the right modus operandi, and there already has been made a great number of scientific papers, analysis etc. on this, so there is a lot of intelligent and well thought out material to work from.

The most fascinating thing is that this is not new knowledge. It is knowledge we find in the oldest stories we know, but humanity has some way forgotten and suppressed it. However its all there - on the Internet - accessible to everyone - and very easy to research.

Start looking at your own "digitization" and you own growing symbiosis with the internet as the a tool and first step to the fifth dimension, that is "our there" and "in here" at the same time.

There is a name for it, but I can't remember.

The exercise of whispering something in someone's ear, and passing it along by whispering it into another, and another, and another. By the time it gets to the final person, the message is not even close to what it was when it started out.

 Quoting: aether

Under construction by contractors with top-secret clearances, the blandly named Utah Data Center is being built for the National Security Agency. A project of immense secrecy, it is the final piece in a complex puzzle assembled over the past decade. Its purpose: to intercept, decipher, analyze, and store vast swaths of the world’s communications as they zap down from satellites and zip through the underground and undersea cables of international, foreign, and domestic networks. The heavily fortified $2 billion center should be up and running in September 2013. Flowing through its servers and routers and stored in near-bottomless databases will be all forms of communication, including the complete contents of private emails, cell phone calls, and Google searches, as well as all sorts of personal data trails—parking receipts, travel itineraries, bookstore purchases, and other digital “pocket litter.” It is, in some measure, the realization of the “total information awareness” program created during the first term of the Bush administration—an effort that was killed by Congress in 2003 after it caused an outcry over its potential for invading Americans’ privacy.

I think most people regurgitate what they have been told...it is easier that way.

Whether true or false, it is based on ones perception and intention of the concept.

'Knowingly lying' is something different altogether.
