She's prego with Lucifer's love child...

On the bright side...The gubba-mint will give her 7 months maternity leave...So she'll be back very soon posting everyday...consistently.

I was wondering if you were Rayz.

My Luna bit was bait to find out if you were.

Joke?

Levity?

Good natured ribbing?

You ever been in a team sport or a similar environment where that kind of thing is actually a show of affection?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 10822933

I didn't lol.

I played team sports as a youth. Soccer and softball. But, being the late 80's, my hair sprayed bangs did not fit under my hat.

So I decided to forgo the team sports...for something different...at the time.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Messianism is the belief in a messiah, a savior or redeemer. Many religions have a messiah concept, including the Jewish Messiah, the Christian Christ, the Muslim Mahdi and Isa (Arabic name for Jesus), the Buddhist Maitreya, the Hindu Kalki and the Zoroastrian Saoshyant. The state of the world is seen as hopelessly flawed beyond normal human powers of correction, and divine intervention through a specially selected and supported human is seen as necessary.
 Quoting: observation

[link to en.wikipedia.org]
 Quoting: aether

But, messiah and God King would be two different things. Messiah's do not desire to control, only show how it is possible to advance certain states of suffering.

God King is more to the taste of control.

It feels like one is 'real' (touched by higher states of awareness, etc), and one is false, using the idea of being touched to control underlings.
 Quoting: Septenary Man

that`s good /z\
teachers not rulers
thus they say things that makes sense to all
and in doing so
remove the need to rule

is that right
remembering the original motive of a god king
is
their existence prompts golden age lifestyle for all
thus messiah must provide the same state of golden age
their way

maybe it is information
that is the key
 Quoting: aether

Yes. As it always probably should of been this way. Meritocracy (democracy) with no money (lobbyist) influence.

All persons being teachers and students of life with none greater than another. Sovereign and "anonymous". Think in terms of the concept of 12 step recovery society. Look at "the promises" and the numbers who have awakened from the depths of personal hell and who have reported experiencing heaven on earth as a result of undertaking these self gnostic steps similar to other paths. This "program" was channeled for all beings as an opportunity to higher consciousness not just the "addicts" and "co-dependents." The 8 fold path and other paths work too. The gist is pick one. The Abrahamic religions are in need of this to set their people free and to stay relevant in coming times. With the information society as it is people will leave unless given alternatives to higher forms of being. Additions/alterations to the 12 steps would constitute looking at all attachments as an impediment to higher consciousness and a central focus on the HOW (honesty, open-mindedness, willingness) as well as more information to ensure the awakened state is maintained and expanded perhaps IMO. Many reach this state in the programs but backslide overtime. Instinctually there are changes to body, mind, spirit and more information should be made available as to the changes that occur, explanation of what occurs, and ways to maintain this higher consciousness in an expanded framework are needed (meditation techniques, breathing, grounding, food consumption, goal manifestation, etc.)

For me, a pleasant memory is still unpleasant to recall.

Merely staring at some trees in the yard adjacent has caused me to recall last June. The branches almost seem 'patterned' in a funny way, that only I would ever recognize.

Last June was awful in more ways than it was pleasant, sure....

But the times that I spent with my friends, I cannot seem to look back on with fondness.

I feel 'trapped' in the present, as it were.

I think I mentioned 'Chronophobia' a ways back.... same sorta deal.

I am having trouble 'living in the moment'.

No one is greater than another - all have different paths to the light eventually. Some will go dark, many grey but I have to believe there is a higher cause for it all and God/Source/whatever you want name this supreme higher power loves us has a plan for it all.

It's easy to judge obviously as it's inherent in our perception but it isn't the goal. Who are we to say anyone is greater than another? Who's to say one person can't rise from the ashes and be a huge positive to society? Who's to say we don't all have the divine in us? What makes one great even? One's heart that could turn cold or bitter? One's intelligence that can be lost in an instant? One's grounded nature that can come unglued in a second? One's accomplishments that can be forgotten, ignored, stolen, blasphemed, undone by one's behavior, etc.?

Are we giving our own power to be way to heroes and messiahs by worshipping them versus being grateful for their messages?
