Aquamarine blossomed in my third/mind eye today. I kept it internal long enough to be happy that, whether or not it has always been there, it is real to me now. Predictably I become aware it is intrinsic in everything, I am seeing it in all. The room with no illumination has it in the fabric of black.

Any knowledge of what, if any, symbolism aquamarine has will be appreciated.

The Hypogeum of Hal Saflieni.

Carved from solid rock. When discovered it contained the bodies of over 7,000 people . It is at least three storey's deep, and contains rock-cut features such as a 'speaking chamber', trilithons, lintelled-doorways, a large cistern and a 'holy of holies' surrounded by 'embryonic' chambers.

The Hypogeum is one of the greatest remaining structures from prehistory. Its pristine condition allows us to see the past through the eyes of our ancestors.
 Quoting: observation

on another mediterranean island within a "labyrinth"
7000 dead people is a lot in one place

"an interesting clue to one of the original functions of the hypogeum is the resemblance to the site to natural caves.
the near darkness of the original subterranean chambers and passageways is a little hard to imagine nowadays, with the brightness of artificial lighting.
but originally, whoever was allowed to venture down into the depths of the Hypogeum would only have had a dim light of animal fat to help them through the maze of rooms , passageways and niches.
perhaps what took place inside the hypogeum involved some kind of procession or ritual initiation through the disorientating labyrinth structure, which involved passing through port hole entrances in particularly restricted shrines"

I forget the other parts of the legend

To finish this thought

Kaliya, in Hindu mythology, was the name of a poisonous Naga living in the Yamuna River, in Vrindavan. The water of the Yamuna for four leagues all around him boiled and bubbled with poison. No bird or beast could go near, and only one solitary Kadamba tree grew on the river bank.

The proper home of Kaliya was Ramanaka Dwipa, but he had been driven away from there by fear of Garuda, the foe of all serpents. Garuda had been cursed by a yogi dwelling at Vrindavan so that he could not come to Vrindavan without meeting his death. Therefore Kaliya chose Vrindavan as his residence, knowing it was the only place where Garuda could not come.

Once Krishna and herdboys were playing ball, and while playing Krishna climbed up the Kadamba tree and hung over the river bank, the ball fell into the river and Krishna jumped after it. Kaliya rose up with his hundred and ten hoods vomiting poison and wrapped himself around Krishna's body. Krishna became so huge that Kaliya had to release him. So Krishna saved himself from every attack, and when he saw the Brij folk were so much afraid he suddenly sprang into Kaliya's head and assumed the weight of the whole universe, and danced on the naga's heads, beating time with his feet. Then Kaliya began to die. But then the naga's wives came and prayed to Krishna with joined palms, worshipping Krishna and praying for their husband.

Kaliya, recognizing the greatness of Krishna, surrendered, promising he would not harass anybody. So Krishna pardoned him and then let him go free to leave the river and go to Ramanaka Dwipa. Some identify it as Fiji.

Labyrinth

In Greek mythology, the Labyrinth labyrinthos, possibly the building complex at Knossos) was an elaborate structure designed and built by the legendary artificer Daedalus for King Minos of Crete at Knossos. Its function was to hold the Minotaur, a mythical creature that was half man and half bull and was eventually killed by the Athenian hero Theseus. Daedalus had so cunningly made the Labyrinth that he could barely escape it after he built it. Theseus was aided by Ariadne, who provided him with a skein of thread, literally the "clew", or "clue", so he could find his way out again.

In Greek mythology, the Minotaur (Ancient Greek: Latin: Minotaurus, Etruscan , was a creature with the head of a bull on the body of a man
or, as described by Roman poet Ovid, "part man and part bull"
 Quoting: observation

There are two versions for the Brazilian boitatá legend: some says that it is a huge fire serpent which lives in the rivers and attacks others animals to absorb their energy and light to keep its fire in the water.
The other version says it is a bull-like creature which spits fire from his mouth, but in reality it is the soul of a wicked person.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Baldock in Hertfordshire was a town founded by the Knights Templar and between 1199 and 1254 it was their English headquarters. The Hertford Mercury newspaper reported a warren of Templar tunnels beneath the town of Hertford, centering on Hertford Castle, where in 1309 four Templars from Temple Dinsley near Hitchin were imprisoned after their arrest by Edward II, who believed that they were holding a lost treasure.

Modern tradition has it that after the persecution began the Templars were forced to meet in caves, tunnels and cellars in Hertfordshire and elsewhere in southeast England. However, the brief and modest persecution in England is unlikely to have necessitated this, as remaining members could, even around 1310, met at the house or room of a friend not under arrest—which would have been most Templars.

But after lying undiscovered for at least 300 years, workmen accidentally stumbled upon Royston Cave (August 1742), hidden under a heavy millstone and a covering of soil. The cave's discovery created much excitement. Today, it still awes and inspires visitors who can see carvings depicting, among other images, knights, Saint George and Saint Catherine of Alexandria. Before the brief persecution, the Templars, assuming the cave was theirs, had no reason to hide below the ground, and they had wealth and access to stonemasons if they required religious carvings. It is thus suggested by storytellers and a few historians that Royston Cave is evidence 'fugitive' Templars continued to meet and worship in secret after the disbandment.

There have been some highly questionable claims made about Royston Cave and its history, including the suggestion that its Templar builders may, in effect, have been early Freemasons. However, no evidence of this link has been produced at this time

Well of Souls

The Well of Souls (Arabic: Bir el- Arweh, Bir el- Arwah or Bir al- Arwah ) — sometimes translated Pit of Souls, Cave of Spirits, or Well of Spirits — is a partly natural/partly man-made cave located inside the Foundation Stone under the Dome of the Rock shrine in Jerusalem. The name derives from a medieval Islamic legend that at this place the spirits of the dead can be heard awaiting Judgement Day at which time the Ka'aba in Mecca will come here and God's throne will be established on the Stone. (The name "Well of Souls" has also been applied more narrowly to a depression in the floor of this cave and to a hypothetical chamber that may exist beneath the floor. This possible chamber has been proposed as the past — or even present — repository of the Ark of the Covenant, but no compelling evidence exists for this and some even doubt the existence of a significant chamber underneath the cave floor.)

Have you heard of the practice of leaving bodies to decay in the open air, very high on a purpose-built platform?

A friend was explaining to me some months ago a certain tribe that did this, and it worked remarkably well.

The bodies would be baked by the sun, and quickly consumed by vultures, all the while being out of 'eyeshot' by the villagers.

He remarked that this was the way he'd prefer to be 'buried'.

yes
the simplicity appears to be this
the common factor going back to when we noticed , is the location we are within and the sensations (altered state) the location provides for us tied to the belief of the day attributed to invisible forces causing our feelings. as in:

how do you feel (altered state) in the the open air

how do you feel (altered state) in a structure (building)

how do you feel (altered state) underground

the combination of these /z\ differing locational affects upon the field(s) within which you experience altered state caused by the structure you are within when you experience the field affect
and
the combination of differing causes attributed to invisible forces (field affects) prompting feelings (altered state)

is the history of our beliefs since when we noticed our golden age changing

"I teach you the overman. Man is something that shall be overcome. What have you done to overcome him?

"All beings so far have created something beyond themselves; and do you want to be the ebb of this great flood and even go back to the beasts rather than overcome man? What is the ape to man? A laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. And man shall be just that for the overman: a laughingstock or a painful embarrassment. You have made your way from worm to man, and much in you is still worm. Once you were apes, and even now, too, man is more ape than any ape.

"Whoever is the wisest among you is also a mere conflict and cross between plant and ghost. But do I bid you become ghosts or plants?

"Behold, I teach you the overman! The overman is the meaning of the earth. Let your will say: the overman shall be the meaning of the earth! I beseech you, my brothers, remain faithful to the earth, and do not believe those who speak to you of otherworldly hopes! Poison-mixers are they, whether they know it or not. Despisers of life are they, decaying and poisoned themselves, of whom the earth is weary: so let them go!"

hi nobody
that is what is occurring
as we discover our new to us past, our imaginations prompt memory within earths fields
as you know the energy for earth to generate earth fields is from the outside but earth
but
like we do, earth converts the energy into usable information for earths motives to functions thus in that regard, all of our earth fields are self generating (local). as in.
always created by earth it`self
thus
no matter what environment earth is within
and
no matter how far earth travels
the information (memory) in the fields remains within the fields because the environment the memories are contained within (fields) are always maintained (replenished) locally as in:
never left behind
this is how and why recantation occurs

"Behold, I teach you the overman! The overman is the meaning of the earth. Let your will say: the overman shall be the meaning of the earth! I beseech you, my brothers, remain faithful to the earth, and do not believe those who speak to you of otherworldly hopes! Poison-mixers are they, whether they know it or not. Despisers of life are they, decaying and poisoned themselves, of whom the earth is weary: so let them go!"

'Zoroastrian' prompts the following for me

....

But do I bid you become ghosts or plants?

yes
we discovered Zoroaster was one of the first to imagine what the meaning may be for the succession of planetary gods in relation to the ending of our golden age
the current story in his era was the previous god was driven away by the present god , our sun
and
since the new god`s arrival life had not been very happy for people
he formed the opinion there were two gods
the god we all knew whom dictated our lives in not a pleasant manner
and the hidden god
the nice god whom the god we all see had driven away
thus gnosis began to form in the minds of people
free will to discover the meaning of the god they see and the invisible god of eternity

lol

In the last two minutes, a shirtless man passed my booth with 4 particular tattoos.

666 and 777 tattooed on either side of his chest. And Alpha and Omega on each arm.

I called him over and asked him what they meant to him...he didn't really say, just that the '777' was his 'first tattoo'.

Just now, my booth neighbor returned wearing a hat which says on the back Triple 8.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Str. No, not that; but another part of the story, which tells how the sun and the stars once rose in the west, and set in the east, and that the god reversed their motion, and gave them that which they now have as a testimony to the right of Atreus.

Y. Soc. Yes; there is that legend also.

Str. Again, we have been often told of the reign of Cronos.

Y. Soc. Yes, very often.

Str. Did you ever hear that the men of former times were earthborn, and not begotten of one another?

Y. Soc. Yes, that is another old tradition.

Str. All these stories, and ten thousand others which are still more wonderful, have a common origin; many of them have been lost in the lapse of ages, or are repeated only in a disconnected form; but the origin of them is what no one has told, and may as well be told now; for the tale is suited to throw light on the nature of the king.

Y. Soc. Very good; and I hope that you will give the whole story, and leave out nothing.

Str. Listen, then. There is a time when God himself guides and helps to roll the world in its course; and there is a time, on the completion of a certain cycle, when he lets go, and the world being a living creature, and having originally received intelligence from its author and creator turns about and by an inherent necessity revolves in the opposite direction.

Y. Soc. Why is that?

Str. Why, because only the most divine things of all remain ever unchanged and the same, and body is not included in this class. Heaven and the universe, as we have termed them, although they have been endowed by the Creator with many glories, partake of a bodily nature, and therefore cannot be entirely free from perturbation. But their motion is, as far as possible, single and in the same place, and of the same kind; and is therefore only subject to a reversal, which is the least alteration possible. For the lord of all moving things is alone able to move of himself; and to think that he moves them at one time in one direction and at another time in another is blasphemy. Hence we must not say that the world is either self-moved always, or all made to go round by God in two opposite courses; or that two Gods, having opposite purposes, make it move round. But as I have already said (and this is the only remaining alternative) the world is guided at one time by an external power which is divine and receives fresh life and immortality from the renewing hand of the Creator, and again, when let go, moves spontaneously, being set free at such a time as to have, during infinite cycles of years, a reverse movement: this is due to its perfect balance, to its vast size, and to the fact that it turns on the smallest pivot.

Y. Soc. Your account of the world seems to be very reasonable indeed.

Str. Let us now reflect and try to gather from what has been said the nature of the phenomenon which we affirmed to be the cause of all these wonders. It is this.

Y. Soc. What?

Str. The reversal which takes place from time to time of the motion of the universe.

Y. Soc. How is that the cause?

Str. Of all changes of the heavenly motions, we may consider this to be the greatest and most complete.

Y. Soc. I should imagine so.

Str. And it may be supposed to result in the greatest changes to the human beings who are the inhabitants of the world at the time.

Y. Soc. Such changes would naturally occur.

Str. And animals, as we know, survive with difficulty great and serious changes of many different kinds when they come upon them at once.

Y. Soc. Very true.

Str. Hence there necessarily occurs a great destruction of them, which extends also to-the life of man; few survivors of the race are left, and those who remain become the subjects of several novel and remarkable phenomena, and of one in particular, which takes place at the time when the transition is made to the cycle opposite to that in which we are now living.

Y. Soc. What is it?

Str. The life of all animals first came to a standstill, and the mortal nature ceased to be or look older, and was then reversed and grew young and delicate; the white locks of the aged darkened again, and the cheeks the bearded man became smooth, and recovered their former bloom; the bodies of youths in their prime grew softer and smaller, continually by day and night returning and becoming assimilated to the nature of a newly-born child in mind as well as body; in the succeeding stage they wasted away and wholly disappeared. And the bodies of those who died by violence at that time quickly passed through the like changes, and in a few days were no more seen.

Y. Soc. Then how, Stranger, were the animals created in those days; and in what way were they begotten of one another?
