Quoting: observationcan we get into that thought formed thinking /z\ we assume you start with our universe (everything) everything goes off and on, begins/completes starting with everything on/of/start/end by design you apply that to everything cos everything must by design i detect boundaries arise around the thought for that goes on/off/start/end cos you can not apply this thought form to eternity you have to possess a thought in eternity that does this thus the thought form becomes everything and it switches itself on /of/start/complete thus you have eternity unexplained but real and you have something that only goes on/off/start/complete is where that thought form takes me anyone else detect anything Reminds me of groundhog day, over and over till you get it right...whatever that right may be. Quoting: Septenary Man 'Living in the Now' removes linearity, but our minds end up naturally constructing sequences out of the Now moments. Problem is, our material bodies exist within our own finite bubble of biology. Since many do not have the ability to experience the non-material in a conscious way, I imagine it creates a 'wall' that blocks understanding of the concept of infinity or eternity. They are also called vertical caves. There are many different blue holes located around the world, typically in low-lying coastal regions. The best known examples can be found in Belize, the Bahamas, Guam, Australia (in the Great Barrier Reef), and Egypt (in the Red Sea). [link to ngm.nationalgeographic.com] on page 3 says "To give an idea of just how unique each hole is," Macalady says, "we analyzed the DNA of microbes from five inland blue holes and didn't find any shared species." She is continually surprised by the variety of ways cave organisms harvest energy. "Some of these organisms use tricks we used to think were chemically impossible," she says. "If we can understand precisely how these microbes are making a living, we know what to look for on oxygen-free worlds." Then this is interesting before the caves were filled with water: [link to news.nationalgeographic.com] The Sawmill Sink blue hole lies in a rocky pine forest in the interior of Abaco Island in the northern Bahamas (see map). It was once a dry cave that filled with water as ancient sea levels rose. Look at the environment before the flooding of the caves. Plant life, ancient crocs and turtles. Very interesting! Reminds of Thor's Well. [link to static.environmentalgraffiti.com] Good morning all. Quoting: Seer777 I just found this and wanted to share... Thor's Well About half way down the Oregon coast there is this place informally named Thor’s Well, it’s umm, a hole. It’s not your ordinary hole, this one doesn’t fill up, so it must have a drain, but looking at it a drain would be below sea level and therefore defy the laws of physics. [link to beforethecoffee.com] Lol at the name of the link... My first thought was hollow earth. That is pretty cool lol I remember that. Looks really cool. |

Quoting: [link to www.cracked.com] Though it was written over 100 years before the Apollo 11 mission, Verne's novel From the Earth to the Moon actually serves as a pretty damn accurate novelization of that mission, down to the scariest details. He was slightly off on the cost and weight of the rocket (but only slightly -- the real stats were 26,275 pounds and $14.4 billion), and in the biggest departure from reality, Verne's astronauts were shot out of a huge gun. But get this: Verne's space cannon was called Columbiad, and the Apollo 11 command module was named Columbia. The real coincidence icing on this insanity cake is this: "The three adventurous companions were surprised and stupefied, despite their scientific reasonings. They felt themselves being carried into the domain of wonders! They felt that weight was really wanting to their bodies. If they stretched out their arms, they did not attempt to fall. Their heads shook on their shoulders. Their feet no longer clung to the floor of the projectile. They were like drunken men having no stability in themselves." Somehow, Verne predicted that the astronauts would become weightless in space. There was no way he could have known that at the time -- it was just some crazy bullshit he made up to make the story interesting, like that time he wrote a book about going to the center of the Earth and finding dinosaurs. .... |

There was no way he could have known that at the time -- it was just some crazy bullshit he made up to make the story interesting, like that time he wrote a book about going to the center of the Earth and finding dinosaurs. .... SCIENCE AND THE SECRET DOCTRINE THEOSOPHY, Vol. 26, No. 8, June, 1938 THE past few years have seen a remarkable increase of interest in "scientific" fiction -- a type of literature which, though popularized by Jules Verne and raised to a high point in later years by H. G. Wells, had in the interim never reached a great volume of circulation. There are a number of "pulp" magazines now specializing in this field, printing imaginative stories based upon scientific or near-scientific plots. While as literature much of this material is questionable, and as science more than questionable, it is clean -- a refreshing contrast to the endless stream of perfumed slime flowing through the "class" magazines of the country. In recent months some of these publications have acquired the services of scientific men of standing -- some of whom have been long writing in this field under pseudonyms -- and who are now presenting "fact" articles of considerable merit. Among the latter is "Catastrophe," by Dr. Edward E. Smith , which sums up the present standing of the various theories on the origin of the solar system in a very able manner. Quoting: observationThe Theosophical reader is referred especially to pages 588-597, Vol. I, of The Secret Doctrine, as a correlative to what follows, as he will there find the Nebular Hypothesis -- the only one then in force -- effectively disposed of, a generation in advance of the scientific awakening to its fallacies, as well as much of importance bearing on later and current theories. ...
