Thread: A suspicious package? Or the elephant in the room?

Walking on the hill, in front of Parliament on Canada day, the police had sectioned off a stuffed elephant that had been abandoned.

Some people were laughing, others looked rather concerned and decided to leave the area.

Thought I might share.

Maybe for the scientists, but I see my 8's in there too!!- lol.
I moved from Fl to the PNW shortly after the leak and made a rash decision to come back a few months ago..I miss WA, I may go back!!
Good luck to you on your move!

Oh yes the 8's are there it could also be construed as an 8 pointed star within a circle , there are 4 tetrahedrons on the outter rim as well with 4 empty spaces 4/4 = 8
the binary is also interesting and important as well.

the circle does feel like the magick circle could apply depending on an alternate explanation for it or it could have dual purpose as well lol

for instance this which is actually a seal

Shiva, Parvati And The Bull

"Once lord shiva and his consort, Parvati, were travelling with their vehicle - the Bull. The Lord had taken the form of an old man, while, Parvatiji remained young and beautiful. On the road all passers-by looked on with amazement at this odd couple of an old man and a young woman.

On the way, Shiva said, ''Parvatiji, my dear, please sit and ride on the bull durig this journey.'' She obeyed and mounted the bull while Shiva walked alongside. The village folk and other strangers bitterly criticised, ''What a selfish woman! She is young and healthy and yet she chooses to comfortably ride while forcing the old man to walk.'' Shiva changed his mind. ''Parvatidevi, the people are mocking you. It is wiser that I sit and you walk.'' So saying, Shiva sat on the bull's back. Further along, other strangers came with sharper comments, ''O look at this mean, bully of a man. He's fat and robust, and evil too. He enjoys the ride while forcing this young and gentle lady to walk on foot.''

Hearing this both of them climbed the bull. At least, this would ward off the criticisms. But they were gravely mistaken and no sooner had they come to the next village, people sneered and jeered. ''Look at this nasty couple. Both of them have mercilessly climbed upon the bull. They'll kill the poor creature!''
Now there was only one option left. They dismounted and allowed the bull to walk freely. They accompanied it on either side. While they walked, they met new people with new bitterness. They laughed at them, shouting ''What foolishness! They have taken a bull as a vehicle and neither of them is using it.''

Straight away Shiva told Parvati, ''Come let us do what we think is right, and live the way we want to. The world will never appreciate or see what we do as correct.''

I think the point being that no matter what one does, you can't please everyone, all the time. And by trying, they received only more scorn.

So instead, they decided to follow their own instincts and not worry to much about others who will judge, based on little more than assumption of what the eyes captured in a moment in time...

 Quoting: Seer777

Wisdom, experience.... Peeling away the outer layers of intuition, we perhaps find something like a blunted selfish drive due to physical (body memory), and psychic, cynicism.

More trustworthiness, and an uneasy sense of pity, both on behalf of the older, and the younger.... one for having seen the ravages of time, the other having yet to see them.... ?

Re: X Marks the Spot
In my language Icelandic (which hasn't changed much since those days) almost every form of the word -Ygg- (where ygg is the root (Icelandic morphology is quite complex)) is related to fear, anger and woe, i.e. Yggja - Uggði - Uggur - Yggla (to name a few). Yggja means to be aware of danger. Uggði is (almost) the same as Yggja. Uggur is to sense fear. Yggla is to make an angry face. Yggdrasill is always referred to as ASKUR (Ash) in Icelandic.

It might be generally accepted that Yggdrasill is Odins (Óðins) horse and many tend to go with that explanation, but, although Drasill/Drösull means horse it also means "a burden/load to bear/pull". So Yggdrasill could also mean "a frightening horse" or "a fearful burden".

Anyone want to hazard a guess to what other meanings the word Odin (Óðinn) has in Icelandic. I'll tell you. It's not just ode as in poem. It also means to violently barge/rush in to one's space/place. The root Od (Óð) is also used to describe a mad/crazy/psychotic person. I agree with Marinus Van der Slujis when he said (paraphrasing now) that we need to look into old, archaic words. Icelandic has alot of those still in use. Hope this makes things interesting.
 Quoting: iceland

That helps quite a bit. The "horse" interpretation made no sense to me. In an electric universe, your interpretation of Drasill as "a burden/load to bear/pull" goes well with your interpretation of Odin as "to violently barge/rush in to one's space/place".
In a gravity only universe, the pull of one body on another depends only on their relative distance (assuming their masses don't change over time). If, on the other hand, we allow for magnetic forces, then the relative velocity becomes important. A charged object violently rushing in, exerts a magnetic pull on the objects in that space. Those objects become the load or burden on the object rushing in to their midst.

Can you help with the possible meanings of "Thud"? As from the Grímnismál: "Odin I am now, Ygg I was before, Thud before that . . . "
