Re: X Marks the Spot
If I was to focus on what I have seen would you be able to see it?

Is black flames coming off others while they sleep, but it looks to be rising.

Very cool info, cheers

seems to be the sign of little information coming out while processing thus their experience has become inside their shell (body) thus their natural emissions have become colorless : no information in their emotions/signals of meaningful sense
dream state , their world within when there is no conscious connectivity to their outside environment
feels like if there is color in what you see when they are asleep they are matching their dream state to their conscious state consciously thus will be emitting information to their environment noticeable as color within the flame

we may consider the driving a vehicle analogy
many drivers of vehicles have experienced of driving of suddenly being aware they possess no memory of driving the previous x amount of miles because they were in deep thought about something and driving is a complex task to not notice doing
thus with that /z\ in mind we see we possess the ability to be within 2 states of mind at once and both states respond to outside stimuli accurately, in real time, without causing the other state to stop what it is doing

Re: X Marks the Spot
I saw something interesting while meditating just now and wanted to share...

It was a single oak leaf.

I looked up the symbolism and found this.

In Greek mythology, the oak is the tree sacred to Zeus, king of the gods. In Zeus's oracle in Dodona, Epirus, the sacred oak was the centerpiece of the precinct, and the priests would divine the pronouncements of the god by interpreting the rustling of the oak's leaves.

In Baltic mythology, the oak is the sacred tree of Latvian, is the god of thunder and one of the most important deities in the Baltic pantheon.

In Celtic polytheism, the name of the oak tree was part of the Proto-Celtic word for 'druid': 'strong knowledge'. As in other Indo-European faiths, Taranus, being a Thunder God, was associated with the oak tree. The Indo-Europeans worshiped the oak and connected it with a thunder or lightning god; "tree" and drus may also be cognate with "Druid," the Celtic priest to whom the oak was sacred. There has even been a study that shows that oaks are more likely to be struck by lightning than any other tree of the same height.

In Norse mythology, the oak was sacred to the thunder god, Thor. Thor's Oak was a sacred tree of the Germanic Chatti tribe. According to legend, the Christianisation of the heathen tribes by Saint Boniface was marked by the oak's being replaced by the fir (whose triangular shape symbolizes the Trinity) as a "sacred" tree.

In the Bible, the oak tree at Shechem is the site where Jacob buries the foreign gods of his people (Gen. 35:4) . In addition, Joshua erects a stone under an oak tree as the first covenant of the Lord (Josh. 24.25–7). In Isaiah 61, the prophet refers to the Israelites as "Oaks of Righteousness".

In Slavic mythology, the oak was the most important tree of the god Perun.

The oaks in Oregon are massive as well.

:)

I just found this and received a 'whoa'.

lol.

As I was meditating I attempted to send the scent of a rose. As I find this rather easy to do.

I received a response and thought...well how about irises then?

Purple Irises.

Perun
In Slavic mythology, Perun is the highest god of the pantheon and the god of thunder and lightning.

His other attributes were fire, mountains, the oak, iris, eagle, firmament
(in Indo-European languages, this was joined with the notion of the sky of stone), horses and carts, weapons (the hammer, axe (Axe of Perun), and arrow), and war. He was first associated with weapons made of stone and later with those of metal.

you know what comes up, all our society's have "laws" that state what is possible to be in contact with thus the term "non local conscious" falls under the "laws" of society which states what invisible forces can provide information/emotion/feeling to a person
which means most people have in their frame of mind what all and any sensation they experiences is coming from before they experience anything thus whatever they do experience they have already placed it into a "context" for what it is
thus all thoughts are steered by the society the thought experience is within cos all societies impose the rules for what can give you thought

hmm

What I was getting at is a notch or two above 'active enjoyment', but that certainly works as well.

....

Could fear perhaps represent a simple lack of engagement, or perhaps a sudden loss that has us scrambling to find a new thought-train?

There are five main modes of seed dispersal: gravity, wind, ballistic, water and by animals. Some plants are serotinous and only disperse their seeds in response to an environmental stimulus. It can be measured using seed traps.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Gromoviti znaci or thunder marks such as these are ancient symbols of Perun, which are often engraved upon roof beams of village houses, particularly in Eastern Slavic populations, to protect them from lightning bolts. It is conjectured their circular shape symbolises ball lightning.

Which is the same as an acorn. The folklore was to place an acorn on the window sill to keep the home from being struck by lightning.
