Quoting: observationFor the past century, cosmologists have likened the universe to an inflating balloon, decorated with galaxies. Now one theoretical physicist has pricked this idea. The idea that the universe is unchanging was long ago consigned to the dustbin, thanks to astronomers such as Edwin Hubble in the 1920s. Hubble analysed with a telescope the light the constituent atoms of galaxies emitted or absorbed, which comes in colours, or frequencies. He knew these frequencies would appear shifted towards the red end of the spectrum if the galaxies were moving away from us.................. [link to www.timeslive.co.za] |

Quoting: acuk Any ideas anyone? Thread: To Astral Travelers......A question on the dark temple (Page 5) As promised OP, I have visited your Dark Temple. Quoting: grumpier I saw a lot of monks, most dressed in orange, some in yellow and even three dressed in a blue robe. Their number was in the thousands, all chanting in low voice. the chants did not start everywere at the same moment. The effect of this was that the overall sound had waves. Sometimes in circular motions sometime from the outside inwards. They ware sitting in square rows around a square open part of the floor, the back rows a bit higher. In the middle of the square was, on a stone, a wooden box, gilded. Under it, covering most of the stone a red cloth with yellow border and a very thin black or dark blue line between the red and yellow. The box seemed old, the lid and the bottom were a bit larger than the rest of it. The size of the box bod was 1,5 feet square and the hight was a bit less than one feet. Round the box was a faintly visible translucent sphere, sometimes small energetic discharges were visible, some yellow but mostly blue. I did not look into the box, it was a first visit. I wanted to be polite. I had the impression their leader was not in the room at the time of my visit. This is all I can remember. The simpler question is what are they baiting. As every object instills a need in a particular potential. |

aether (OP) User ID: 45195307 United Kingdom 08/21/2013 08:12 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are a couple of things which can give you an idea as to how different light conditions were 50,000 years ago versus present conditions. One I've mentioned before is the thing about the Nenderthal brain, which turns out to have been dominated by the parts of the brain involving vision, i.e. the Neanderthal brain was largely the neurological equivalent of the circuitry for a military night-vision scope. Quoting: observationAnother thing in the same category involves deer hunting and the fact that deer see in ultraviolet. Bambi generally sees motion very well but sees forms badly so that of all the money spent on deer hunting paraphernalia, the least well spent is on camouflage gear. But it turns out that a lot of guys were washing their camo stuff in detergents which left an ultraviolet sheen on it and having no idea why Bambi would turn tail and run at the first sight of it.... [link to www.militaryphotos.net] Conversely, I have spoken with people who've shot white-tail deer with bows with a white shirt and tie on, just to prove to themselves it could be done. |

On YouTube 'print is not dead' by buzzfeed is interesting lol yes , we have interesting visuals on this topic if we take the ark as example we may consider the notion that the design of the ark prompts altered state within those in close proximity to it when it is functioning if the scrolls come with the ark they will be a form of instructions for people to follow when they become effected by the altered state effect of the functioning ark what was written on the scrolls and who wrote it cos we know from experience within altered state the unknowing of the cause of altered state are susceptible to influence of emotional and moral tone okay we see a problem already with these scrolls In 586 BC, the Babylonians destroyed Jerusalem and Solomon's Temple. Anonymous Coward User ID: 12467560 United States 08/21/2013 10:55 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I was just reading a beautiful article where he was quoted [link to news.yahoo.com] "Look again at that dot. That's here. That's home. That's us. On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives. The aggregate of our joy and suffering, thousands of confident religions, ideologies, and economic doctrines, every hunter and forager, every hero and coward, every creator and destroyer of civilization, every king and peasant, every young couple in love, every mother and father, hopeful child, inventor and explorer, every teacher of morals, every corrupt politician, every "superstar," every "supreme leader," every saint and sinner in the history of our species lived there-on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. .The Earth is a very small stage in a vast cosmic arena. Think of the endless cruelties visited by the inhabitants of one corner of this pixel on the scarcely distinguishable inhabitants of some other corner, how frequent their misunderstandings, how eager they are to kill one another, how fervent their hatreds. Think of the rivers of blood spilled by all those generals and emperors so that, in glory and triumph, they could become the momentary masters of a fraction of a dot. Our posturings, our imagined self-importance, the delusion that we have some privileged position in the Universe, are challenged by this point of pale light. Our planet is a lonely speck in the great enveloping cosmic dark. In our obscurity, in all this vastness, there is no hint that help will come from elsewhere to save us from ourselves. The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand. It has been said that astronomy is a humbling and character-building experience. There is perhaps no better demonstration of the folly of human conceits than this distant image of our tiny world. To me, it underscores our responsibility to deal more kindly with one another, and to preserve and cherish the pale blue dot, the only home we've ever known.” Sagan, Pale Blue Dot: A Vision of the Human Future in Space |

A woman first discovered the head and then found the body farther down the beach, according to ThinkSpain.com. The entire carcass with the head stretched 13 feet. “A lady found one part and we helped her retrieve the rest,” said Maria Sanches of Civil Protection in Cuevas. “We have no idea what it was. It really stank.” The find caused widespread speculation as to what it could be, some humorously suggesting it was a link to the Loch Ness Monster or was some sort of sea dragon or water dinosaur.
