i think the moment was when i noticed i could use my lunch money to go into town instead of into school was the eureka

and i got lunch money from 13 onwards when i changed school cos my mum and dad moved house to new location

it was the 4 minute warning siren on my school roof that put the top hat on eduction and me when i was about 9

Four-minute warning

The four-minute warning was a public alert system conceived by the British Government during the Cold War and operated between 1953 and 1992. The name derived from the approximate length of time from the point at which a Soviet nuclear missile attack against the United Kingdom could be confirmed and the impact of those missiles on their targets. The population was to be notified by means of air raid sirens, television and radio, and urged to seek cover immediately. In practice, the warning would have been more likely three minutes or less.

the pinnacle of our eduction system was a no brainer to avoid

I have a natural fear of those as well...

As I have mentioned in the past. Descending planes could sound similar to air sirens and bombs dropping.

But I was in my house.

Kane keeps popping up as well, probably the talk of mud yesterday...

Polynesian creation of man story

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Then Kane created the light to push back Po. Lono brought sound to the universe and Ku brought substance. Between them they created all the lesser Gods. Then together, the three Gods created the Menehune, the lesser spirits to be their messengers and servants. Next they created the world to be a foot stool for the Gods. Finally they gathered red clay from the four corners of the world, they mixed the clay with their spittle, and molded it into the shape of a man. Then Kane took a special magical white clay and formed it into a head. Then the three Gods breathed life into the statue and created the first man. The first man was created in the image of Kane.
 Quoting: Fancypantz

Cain and Abel were according to the Book of Genesis, two sons of Adam and Eve. Cain is described as a crop farmer and his younger brother Abel as a shepherd. Cain was the first human born and Abel was the first human to die. Cain committed the first murder by killing his brother.

Yeah.

I believe you mentioned the other day regarding 'trauma' and perhaps being encoded in DNA.

Gen X came out of 3 generations of rather war hardened peoples. They who witnessed vast devastation the likes we have not, and hopefully will not see again.

I have heard that in that October or November of 1918 after the Spanish Influence ran through the world, WWI was still in action, it must of felt like the End of The World. To them...

WWI
At the end of 1918, an armistice was finally agreed upon. The fighting was to end on the 11th hour of 11th day of 11th month (i.e. 11 am on Nov. 11, 1918).

For the next several months, diplomats argued and compromised together in order to come up with the Versailles Treaty. The Versailles Treaty was the peace treaty that ended World War 1; however, a number of its terms were so controversial, that it also set the stage for World War 2.

The carnage left behind by the end of World War 1 was staggering. By the end of the war, an estimated 10 million soldiers were killed. That averages to about 6,500 deaths a day, every day. Plus, millions of civilians were also killed. World War 1 is especially remembered for its slaughter for it was one of the bloodiest wars in history.

[link to history1900s.about.com]

The 1918 flu pandemic (January 1918 – December 1920) was an unusually deadly influenza pandemic, the first of the two pandemics involving H1N1 influenza virus (the second being the 2009 flu pandemic). It infected 500 million people across the world, including remote Pacific islands and the Arctic, and killed 50 to 100 million of them—3 to 5 percent of the world's population —making it one of the deadliest natural disasters in human history.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

They carried that with them. The survivors. And every subsequent generation carries it as well. I don't know if my fear of 'air sirens' was due to seeing WW2 movies of which my mother was fond. Or if it went a little deeper...

Biology chews up vitamin D in response to stress. The less vitamin D the lower the ability to facilitate calcium, and lower immune function. Hence increased rickets and influenza mortality.

It is more complex than this, but there appears to be linkage.

Biology is part of the solar circuit, and when the sun is chaotic for extended periods there are implications for things on the circuit including humans.

Maybe the Sun was responding to the collective Will of the people...

And what was occurring on Earth's surface at the time.

Imagine what September/October 1918 felt like for all the peoples around the world... I would be willing to believe, Faith was rather strengthened for those who survived...

And called for relief. It happened quite quickly after that. Perhaps shaken to their foundation, of what war and disease can do to Man.
