hi

Ss, hope you're not upset with me that I one starred your thread.

I just don't understand why you entertain the thought of leaving the forum when so much is about to happen on it.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

I wasn't talking about leaving the forum. I was just saying I needed a break exploring specific avenues of deeper thought. I have people pushing me outside of GLP to continue expanding with information, and I have been doing it nearly non-stop for 3 or more years.

There is no way that what you said over there would make me angry. It was actually quite the opposite. It made me feel really good.

That's damn fine. Just remember that some of us don't have others of similar intent around us.

That is precisely why I come to this forum...to connect with the dedicated ones.

This place helps me remember that perhaps the world isn't completely fucked after all. And you're an integral part of that in my personal experience.

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

and just fyi...

...I woke up this morning feeling extremely intense. I felt like I could throw emotion around like the hulk throwing tanks miles in the air.

I had to take a half a xanex just to be around other people since we were supposed to have lunch with another couple. My wife knows works with the other girl.

They seemed nice. But I knew if I didn't take a chill pill things may have gone badly.

Ha! That's the million dollar question. It changes. It used to be learning to master dreams. It went on to learn how to have OBE's. Then, to stop having vague memories of ET, but have full conscious contact.

That's it! Thank you Dion. All of the above have that one common trait, and now that I think about it, it is all I've been geared towards. Mastering altered states of consciousness while being a human.

Funny, yes, that is it. I suppose secondary was to see how it all connected to the here and now of waking reality.

The Tao of Physics, The Book of the Dead, ET abduction research, all the many dreaming research I've read through the years, on and on, and on.

It all revolves around mastering altered states to find the answers all of us seek.

When I began learning how to do experiments on the other side, well, it pulled me into different overall tangents. But, later I learned they were not tangents at all. It is all connected.

That's it though. I want to know what I am, what I've forgotten, while still down here in this waking dream.

I embrace my desire to
feel the rhythm, to feel connected
enough to step aside and weep like a widow
to feel inspired, to fathom the power,
to witness the beauty, to bathe in the fountain,
to swing on the spiral
of our divinity and still be a human.

I have always thought that this would be the only way to achieve 'heaven on earth'.

I am sure their are some species of bird that can mimic ducks. Like the Blue Jay can make Redtail and Broadwinged hawk calls to scare away the other birds at the feeder. A mocking bird can mimic all kinds of sounds.

ALMA

The Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array (ALMA), an international partnership of Europe, North America and East Asia in cooperation with the Republic of Chile, is the largest astronomical project in existence. ALMA will be a single telescope of revolutionary design, composed initially of 66 high precision antennas located on the Chajnantor plateau, 5000 meters altitude in northern Chile.
