He who smelt it dealt it.

Could telepathy not be a highly organized sense of active chemical sense?

Precursors are usually the ticket.

Cheers

Like a highly evolved limbic system?
 Quoting: Fancypantz

I wouldn't necessarily say highly evolved in the conventional sense, since as neo cortical functions advance paleo cortical functions are suppressed.

Complex and highly sensitive.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 39902384

That would be interesting to see the difference in the paleo. They had smaller frontal lobes too.
 Quoting: Fancypantz

They were in every sense a more reactive formulation of us. I could image locking gaze with one over the savannah. Watching the muscle flickering awakening ancient sense as the very air was analyzed for intent.

Newly Discovered Brain Region Helps Make Humans Unique

remember the high number of skulls all over gaia from our distant past with evidence of brain surgery and the tools utilized must have been advanced to form the incisions plus there is no evidence of trauma or pain for the patient

hmm

On another note...does anyone know how to keep a puppy from humping everything?

Seemingly endlessly entertaining for everyone but me... This dog has already 'destroyed' two of his 'girlfriends'(pillows). And is working on the third.

He was 'clipped' a week ago and it hasn't seemed to slow him down. In that regard. Ugh.
 Quoting: Seer777

Unfortunately it is a stage. Since you got him clipped, well, that helps overall, but it may take a bit before the urge becomes secondary.

You can try spraying him with a squirt bottle when he does it, which I recommend, so he knows that it is not something you want him to do.
 Quoting: Septenary

He's not my dog. I am just watching him for the week. I would have allowed some of his behavior for about 5 seconds before it would be immediately addressed.

But others whom are here, have varying ideas regarding. So I have stayed much out of it. Only to watch the behavior intensify and regress.

He's mine now. Squirt bottle armed and ready.

lol.

Apparently, in the 3 hours he has been down at the parent's beach house 2 houses down, one of his 'regular houses', he destroyed one of their couch pillows and ate part of hat.

Now that I have had 'the talk' with everyone here in the house, they have agreed that the way he has been handled in not apt.

'Bad parenting' is what I called it. It may be a difficult night for laser pug.

But changing behavior is reinforced. Positively or negatively. And his behavior is poor at best.

And then watch manifest as seen. Now what? Correct that which was learned. By re-learning. Not really the dogs fault to my sense.
