Perhaps what your friend witnessed instead, was his wife hyperventilating which can occur during sexual activity.

It is quite pronounced, leading to a euphoric sensation and hands which clamp down into fists which can not be opened for several minutes.

It can be quite frightening if one knows not what is occurring, due to the physical locking of the hands.

recognize them when they come and you will not be so swayed by their appeal.
