reading this

[link to erg.ucd.ie]

towards the end is Ouspensky's views on the subject:

"The continuation of being around the cycle of recurrence is the aim of nature. The transformation of being away from repetition is the aim of a higher type of man. Unfortunately for man, nature has the upper hand. Ouspensky discusses how sex energy as a separate and distinct causal agent is responsible for our general inability to progress from that which Nietzsche understands as, "human, all too human," to the Ubermensch. From the standpoint of nature the purpose of sex, that is, the continuation of the species, can only be considered one aspect of the sexual enterprise. This is simply because nature has given to man a surplus of sex energy considerably above whatever is necessary for the continuation of human life. Yet, nature herself has created this seemingly inefficient system in order to preserve the very thing intended. For if the sexual life of man was limited to only the amount of sexual energy necessary for procreation and sustenance of the species the procreative effect might, ironically, never occur."

and it gets deeper into infra-sex and supra-sex if anyone wants to look into it.

actually the whole page is a good read for anyone considering Ouspensky's philosphy.

“The flaw with words is that they always make us feel enlightened, but when we turn around to face the world they always fail us and we end up facing the world as we always have, without enlightenment. For this reason, a warrior seeks to act rather than to talk, and to this effect, he gets a new description of the world – a new description where talking is not that important, and where new acts have new reflections.”

- Don Juan Matus
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Most of the volcanic activity occurs under water. And there are many times more volcanoes under water than they thought.
 Quoting: observation

The reason the greatest amount of growth occurs in the oceans is because of the sea water. The electrolyte acts as a ground, shorting the electrical charge in the crust, facilitating the growth in ocean crust.

As the crust bends to flatten and the mountains pop up raw, like the Himalayas or the Rockies, the piezoelectric effect pumps a huge charge into the surrounding crust, keeping that area of crust from flattening out.

Look at the elevation maps at:
[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]
The red to white spaces are elevations over a mile high.

Look at Color Asia
[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]
That white space is a plateau three miles high, and then the mountains go up from there

Look at Color North America
[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]
The red area with white in the center is the Colorado Plateau. It starts at one mile high and the mountains go up from there.

Look at Color South America.
[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]

The red with white space along the Andes is a plateau that is two mile high and the mountains go up from there

Look at Color Africa
[link to www.ngdc.noaa.gov]
Most of Africa is under a mile. Only the mountains top that. Each red area is a raised plateau, with rivers draining the charge.

Each plateau exists because of the electric charge holding up that area of crust. Think how the water in clouds is held up by the electrical charge. All of the charged water in those plateaus are holding up the crust. The rivers that flow from those plateaus short out or drain the electrical charge, and the crust begins to subside, causing massive earthquakes.

Look at Asia. The major rivers are draining the charge from the crust, causing massive earthquakes in China. Over time, the whole region will collapse, flattening out, the Himalayas will be a jumble.

Look at North America. The Appalachians on the east were once raw and jagged like the Rockies. The Mississippi started small, drained the charge on that side, the mountains collapsed into a jumble flattening the crust. When that happened the Rockies popped up charging the Colorado Plateau. The Rio Grande Rift will grow over time, the Rio Grande draining the charge in the plateau, and the Rockies will collapse into a jumble like the Appalachians. The Rio Grande will become as extensive as the Mississippi.

Over time, all of the continents will lose their charge like Africa and become low elevation. Future maps will show mostly green, i.e., under a mile. Look at any place on earth using Google Maps. Zoom in on any major river basin like the Amazon, Congo, Mississippi, etc..., until you can see the topographic elevations. You will see jumbled terrain where once raw mountains like the Rockies used to stand.

The local Tewa indians here in New Mexico remember when Thunderbird came walking, and the sacred mountains popped up, so the Rockies are modern.

Dione's Dance
Oct 18, 2012

Dione exhibits some unusual features that may indicate electrical forces at work.

Recently, the Cassini-Solstice spacecraft made a close flyby of the moon Enceladus. As the Picture of the Day from May 3, 2012 discussed, the bright plumes emanating from the 500 kilometer moon are most likely the result of an electrical connection between it and the gas giant planet Saturn. On the same day, Cassini also flew fairly close to Dione, another of Saturn’s enigmatic moons.

The formerly named Cassini-Huygens mission was launched from Cape Canaveral on October 15, 1997. Few now remember the public outcry against the mission. There were several attempts by citizens groups to stop the launch because of the 33 kilograms of plutonium-238 that provides electrical power to the orbiter. Since there had been failures of other launch vehicles, the concern was that an explosion of the Titan IV-B rocket would scatter radiation over many hundreds of square kilometers in southern Florida......................
