Quoting: Anonymous Coward 56357072 It a combination of theism and atheism. Holy spirit = inner child Jesus = YOU. Son/Daughter of God. God = Higher self. Our best and perfectly realized self. Who does? I did not offer my view. I offered some symbols for people to form their own. The 'Trinity' is derived from the first 3 circles of the Seed of Life. How it is translated personally is perception of. Yes my perception of it is unpopular. It is usually met with silence or attacked. Which is fine. It is my own and i accept it regardless. Im ballsy enough to express my theory on the trinity in real life conversations and it has caused me ridiculous amount of grief and misunderstanding. |

And I have found that I have about 4-5 aspect based definitions of God…. so no comment, on the last one. Well my guess is you kind of disagree with the concept of inner child. So it would be hard to for you accept it as part of the trinity. <-----Just speculating. I agree with the inner child communicating with the higherself though. Once neurobiology is better able to grip the actual mechanics of the veil over our perception, we will have a way to scientifically quantify aspects of experience as 'solid evidence', indeed. For example.... knowing the patterns taken by perceptual illusions allows us to determine for certain if what we have seen is 'real' or illusory, given only an eyewitness account of the 'impossible' things seen: since if we determine that it was impossible for the Mind to generate an illusion matching the one described, we may be able to rule 'imagination' out as a source.... |

They also determined that men are usually more spiteful than women, and young adults more spiteful than their elders. And if you are spiteful, you're probably also callous and have poor self-esteem. Rarely did spitefulness go hand-in-hand with agreeableness or conscientiousness in an individual. [link to theweek.com] I am guilty of that i feel..im trying to heal it Have you noticed anything which helps you particularly in that regard? I find that holding grudges is detrimental not only to ones mental and physical state, but their entire environment due to ruminating on negative feelings. It also touches, all they touch. And so on out. 'Paying it forward' has a ripple effect which has been shown many times. Seeking revenge or being spiteful creates a ripple as well. You can not treat every situation the same. And to keep the Wonder? :ImaginationBubbl: Im going to attempt to outline what i am trying to express. Bear with me. Yes. We are temples after all. Does God not reside and watch over his temples and protect or destroy them as needed? Take the self assurance and unselfishness of the enlightened atheist that what we do will not be rewarded, but S/He will do the right thing anyways because that is what their sense of responsibility and ethics tells them is right. (That puts Religious ethics to shame by the way.) Combine it with the theistic or agnostic view that we were created by God in his/her image to fulfill some kind of experience in which our choices define us. But without reward in an afterlife or even a reward in this life. To further explain my trinity philosophy; inner child noun psychol the part of the psyche believed to retain feelings as they were experienced in childhood. This apparatus of our psyche is what i attribute to the holy spirit. Its intentions are pure in that they are honest emotions not tainted by the want of worldly success or power. Even when it is being destructive it is being honest and pure in its intentions. Because it lacks the scope of experience age brings that tells it is being selfish or unreasonable. It doesnt know any better is what i mean. It only knows what it needs to feel safe and taking care of. The higher self/God listens to and protects the inner child. As we tend to tell our inner child to grow up or stop being so needy or to get over the fact that the wonder and excitement that child like emotions invoke are not real and should not be pandered to. This is false on our part. Humans learn the most about behavior and emotional needs between the ages of 0 and 6. That is where most of our emotional instincts are learned. Ignoring them will not make them go away. It only makes them build under the surface until they find a vent. (midlife crisis for instance) So our higherself protects us (conscious self/son/daughters of God) by listening to and protecting the innerchild because we lack the wisdom to take care of that eternal child consciously yet and ignoring it causes us to implode emotionally and can ruin the life of our conscious self. Which brings us to our conscious self and its function. The inner child stands between us and our higherself. We must communicate and pander to the needs of the inner childs emotions in a way that benefits our conscious self and our inner child/holy spirit. This causes God/higherself to listen to our conscious needs and wants when ran through the pure unfiltered/pure emotional needs of the holy spirit. When God sees you are thinking with your heart and acting responsibly with your mind S/He then unlocks some of the powerful resources that you naturally posses to help you attain your goal. But only after you have achieved the balance inside yourself required to use your power responsibly. And it not an easy thing to do by any means. Our ego and unrecognized wants and demands of the inner child constantly getting in the way. |
