I was just curious. One doesn't need the wind to stop another's dialogue.

All one needs is the attention of the black magician.

Yeah. I say it but I can't listen to it like you can.

The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

:)

This will be the first time I have relayed this story.

It is quite dramatic so if it disturbs you, please cease reading.

This last January I was staying at my beach house for the month.

I had invited a group of my friends, as we often spend a week there for my friend JB's birthday.

The night everyone arrived, +5, was normal enough.

Just to note...

When at the beach, I often sleep out on the couch due the windows which allow me to feel like I am sleeping under the stars.

About 3 am I woke up to use the restroom. On the other couch across the way was a good friend of mine I will call 'Chuck', of over 10 years.

When I looked over at him he was sitting in an upright position, with his left arm raised up in the air and he was looking up at it.

I called out to him,

"Chuck...Chuck, what are you doing?"

He made no movement, or even acted like he heard me. I then left to use to the RR. When I returned I noted he was still in the same position, seemingly frozen.

I called to him again in the same fashion, again with no response.

I shrugged it off and went back to sleep.

The next morning, my friend was seemingly a bit crazed, if you will. He kept saying things which made me uncomfortable, or was pulling on my arms which hurt.

I asked him several times to back off and leave me alone.

Please note that...Chuck is a GOOD friend of mine and with everyone in the group which we found ourselves at the beach, so we all just kinda laughed it off with a raised eyebrow.

Later that night, the energy was getting to point where I took JB outside to the deck with me. I told him that something was about to happen and I needed him to stand next to me when we went back inside.

He agreed.

When we walked back in, not a few second later Chuck came up behind me, shielding JB's view of me, in front of him as he is well over 260b.

It was then he picked me up by my throat...

Being that I couldn't breathe, I could make no sound, he released just enough for me to yell,

"Chuck stop choking me!"

He then tightened again whispering in my ear...

I haven't begun to choke you.

He then put me down and JB ran around the counter to intervene.

Needless to say much occurred after I won't go into.

...

It was what occurred the next morning however, being the reason I tell this.

I woke up first and was out on the front porch attempting to wrap my Mind around what had occurred the night before, when Chuck suddenly opened the front door to leave.

There was a moment where I was again struck by fear that he would come after me...

The second he stepped over the threshold toward me, WIND unlike anything I had ever seen, slammed into him blowing him back through the threshold.

I was standing less than 3ft from the door and was not touched.

While he was packing his car, I watched as the wind and rain battered him brutally, I stood there in shock with the violence of the sudden storm, as he drove away the wind and rained calmed instantly.

What occurred over the proceeding days, made that look like a walk in the park.

Wind was often featured.

Yes, I have been considering Dion's words regarding belief and aether's on faith.

One creates their reality from said and when removed, ones perception can lead to quite an 'identity' crisis.

It seems if 'one' thing is potential only, then no identity can be give.

Therefore, I would imagine it would constantly seek to define itself, to be able to identify itself at a fulcrum point from where it could then move in any direction it chooses, through will and desire inherent through identification with 'Self'.

Otherwise, it's seems everything is just floating, with no real direction.

Just awareness.

As beliefs are altered we cast off the shackles which bind us to our theories. For better or for worse.

But when pushed beyond that which allows a 'belief' to hold, the sphere of potential re-opens and we are then allowed to travel within without the restraints which once bound us.

“Warriors must be impeccable in their effort to change, in order to scare the human form and shake it away. After years of impeccability, a moment will come when the human form cannot stand it any longer and leaves. That is to say, a moment will come when the energy fields contorted by a lifetime of habit are straightened out. A warrior gets deeply affected, and can even die as a result of this straightening out of energy fields, but an impeccable warrior always survives.”
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

Nice.

Just like magnetic fields in Sol getting all contorted until release... and pole flip.

I'll attest to the dangers of retuning an individual. It's electrical and feels like a combination of electrocution of the heart and full body orgasm. The result is core soreness and full blown humility. Not for the faint of heart. Nature has a way of redressing grievances.

Wow...amazing when nature seems to intervene like that like it has a mind of it's own..
I'm conflicted when it comes to answers on stuff like that though...between what drove the wind...nature..or human...or a combination of both...

I can see why you're hesitant to share it...but glad you did!

I'm not sure what to say, Seer.

I am quite curious about what happened during the gap of your story.

I wouldn't have been able to go back to sleep though with someone acting that way in the night.

I would feel compelled to sit cross legged behind them and to their left...wrapped in a veil of silence.

What direction was that fierce wind blowing?

Yes.

Try to understand that we were all in shock due to the events being 'out of character' for normally a passive and sweet Chuck.

I don't surround myself with violent individuals.

...

That is interesting you ask. As the 'back' of the house faces East, where the front door is, due to the front of the house facing West, the Bay.

The wind came from the East, blowing fiercely West.

Which is quite abnormal...now that I think about it.

The wind changed direction at some point, and suddenly the odds shifted greatly to your favor.

You picked up on it...and went outside, knowing 'chuck' or whatever had a hold of him, must come outside.

Rule #1...choose your battleground...accomplished.

Then he came outside and the wind was unleashed. Perhaps the wind changed direction as soon as you felt compelled to go outside...which would've been the time he felt compelled to get the fuck out of there.

At least...that's how it may have gone.

I have been told by friend, that he does, and he feels remorse. But everyone is a little weirded out about it, as you can imagine...

With what occurred over the next several days, putting much of that, in the background.

I have already forgiven him, as I did so that night. But we have not been in each others presence, since.

I'm sure you will reveal anything that needs to be shared in due time. Telling stories derived purely from personal experience tend to cost too much energy for the story teller unless one has become sufficiently detached from them.
