Speaking on 'purring'.

Last night after returning from the beach there was a tap at my door. Grammy from next door appeared there sobbing and shuttering in all her 94 years, directing me to her house next door where her beloved cat had just died.

Walking in and trying to comfort her, I was confronted by the open mouth corpse of her cat.

Needless to say, your 'purring quip' reminded me pi.

Did you know that it is indeed possible to die of a broken heart?

The stress of grief can kill.

Her grief was so extreme I worried about her heart. She is 94 y/o.

For some reason, I felt nothing for the dead cat laying there with gaping maw and glazed over eyes. I then recalled watching my own beloved cat die. I was completely numb as I listened to her sobs.

.......In July 2010, remains of 79 human bodies dating back to the seventh century AD were found inside a stone wall believed to have been a secondary grave site, meaning that the remains had been removed from their original resting places, a widespread custom in pre-Columbian Peru. Most bones from human skeletons found to date are adult.

What I did see was the sunset. It was glorious last night. Breathtaking.

Fiery, magenta clouds. I directed grammy outside to have a look. Told her, Look, Misty chose a beautiful sunset to say goodby to. And on the super moon.

The sky was too beautiful to forget. I hope it brought her some comfort. Luckily, I didn't have to dig the hole.

Not sure I could have, if I had to. Hard-packed clay be tough to dig deep.

My favourite hobby as a child was clay moulding. I've often bashfully compared my magnetic sculptures to the ease of clay in sculpting.

Honestly I really do find it easy too wrought the shape from twisting an iron thing….. never mind. I call this one "Wrought Iron" since by no means is a woman's name the only rose about her scence.

This is interesting about catlinite:

The red catlinite from the Pipestone quarries is the second softest rock in the world[citation needed], and it lies under Sioux quartzite, the second hardest rock in the world.
