Re: X Marks the Spot
time is a measurement variable of velocity. time is a quasi quantum variable used to observe process. the material now transpires much to quickly and is valuable only in hindsight to getting a feel for understanding . for now quantum must be viewed as a process that stretches time. the question then becomes how far can now (time) be stretched to make alteration conceivable. this is known as time dilation. it was the premise of the movie contact.

to understand velocity properly, one must place it first in the context of its origins. as of yet, velocity must be dissected as initial energy state particle momentum. 99.9999..% of initial momentum is account for by spin. this spin is by nature's standards circular or spiral in nature.
so velocity is by nature a product of circular or spiral initial energy state particle momentum. initial momentum is the wheel turning the wheel turning the wheel ............ ad nauseam. as an analogy, recall seers quantum post of plotting random drops of water that created a ripple pattern must like a single drop of water would. the idea is not the exact same thing but the idea of quantum patterns is. the expanded initial quantum momentum is what we see as velocity. what quantum tells us is that initial momentum is responsible for linear velocity.

can understanding expanded initial quantum momentum lead us to dilated time awareness?

consider that cern can be viewed both as a spiral and a circular laboratory. it is a spiral due to its multilevel design. although velocity is essential in the process, the real interest is determining why the higgs boson particle is an exception to initial energy state particle momentum understanding.

the higgs boson particle velocity is straight forward linear velocity. there is no initial energy state particle momentum. the higgs boson particle is not bound by what we know as time.

It certainly proves time is subjective. If it is subjective then our point of observation is what makes it what it is to our senses.

so how do we change our point of observation is the next step.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Good morning everyone.

Have We Been Interpreting Quantum Mechanics Wrong This Whole Time?

The experiments involve an oil droplet that bounces along the surface of a liquid. The droplet gently sloshes the liquid with every bounce. At the same time, ripples from past bounces affect its course. The droplet’s interaction with its own ripples, which form what’s known as a pilot wave, causes it to exhibit behaviors previously thought to be peculiar to elementary particles — including behaviors seen as evidence that these particles are spread through space like waves, without any specific location, until they are measured.

Particles at the quantum scale seem to do things that human-scale objects do not do. They can tunnel through barriers, spontaneously arise or annihilate, and occupy discrete energy levels. This new body of research reveals that oil droplets, when guided by pilot waves, also exhibit these quantum-like features.

To some researchers, the experiments suggest that quantum objects are as definite as droplets, and that they too are guided by pilot waves — in this case, fluid-like undulations in space and time. These arguments have injected new life into a deterministic (as opposed to probabilistic) theory of the microscopic world first proposed, and rejected, at the birth of quantum mechanics.

“This is a classical system that exhibits behavior that people previously thought was exclusive to the quantum realm, and we can say why,” said John Bush, a professor of applied mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology who has led several recent bouncing-droplet experiments. “The more things we understand and can provide a physical rationale for, the more difficult it will be to defend the ‘quantum mechanics is magic’ perspective.”

the above is in direct contrast to the nature of the higgs boson particle, this is were it gets sticky. fermion is matter, boson is a term for a non material state. higgs boson is a particle. a particle by classic physics definition possesses a field, energy and spin. the higgs boson particle has no spin, it may have a field. its reportedly been captured image by magnetically plotted data revealing an energy state. after the initial tracking its trace data is then immediately lost, presumably because of its velocity is boundless and not under the influences of the four fundamental forces. gravity, electro-magnetics, strong and weak nuclear.

Lovely. I see it. The Sun looks HUGE.

I have a great pic of a 'dragon' flying over the Sun there once. Then then Sun looked like the Moon. Was a truly thrilling experience. I kinda miss those times.

i can't get my head around it. wouldn't matter be the only proofe and measure of time?

and.. chasing the Sun couldn't really have any effect at all, could it?

It is said if there is no time then everything would look invisible. But then really that seems like a type of velocity. Like everything would exist everywhere and no where, which I considered a type of indras net.
 Quoting: Fancypantz

wow. i haven't heard that before. this topic is kinda new to me.

can it be described in terms of life being an infinitely blooming fractal lotus? how would time figure into that? what about the senses?

sorry this topic is a bit beyond me but i'll contemplate it more lol

:bthelotus:
 Quoting: aphroditeduck

My conundrum is this, is no time really just another word for velocity. Because if you speed up time enough, things would move so fast they would look invisible. Slow it down enough and it would look stationary/no movement. I also wonder how it works because the environment has its own time but things/people in it have their own as well.

Maybe things/people is the blooming fractal of the environment? Senses seem like they help with the flow of time.

Me too, lol
 Quoting: Fancypantz

well i don't know if it will make sense in this context but if it helps, i saw something like hwat you're describing.. in a deep meditative state (Vipassana) i opened my eyes and my surroundings appeared in what looked like heat vision. nothing was solid but, just vibrating, dots. people were warmer colours and empty pillows were cooler shades. it was exhilarating but too much so. i blinked, and it was gone :)

Do you understand what this image depicts?

the representation is a colorized dramatization of magnetically plotted data, resulting from an electron collision aimed at producing a higgs boson particle image.

the red is the initial energy release. the gold lines represent particles released by the collision. the spiral gold lines represent elementary spin particles. the straight gold lines represent higgs-boson particle trajectories. the image you present has been altered for effect. the number of spin trajectories has been reduced and the number of higgs boson trajectories have been increased from the original. the blue represents ethereal energy known to surround electrons. in this image it has created "smoke rings" in its dispersion.

it is only my interpretation but this ethereal energy appears to be capable of neutralizing the trajectory of higgs boson particles stopping them in their tracks.

the few higgs boson particle that donot encounter the ethereal energy are lost to all tracking. it is hoped that when the accelerator is restarted at full power better magnetic tracking will be available.
