The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Seer, I was able to do an incredible "Wake Induced Lucid Dream".

Basically, I lie awake in bed, with eyes closed, but never 'falling asleep'.

I concentrate and remain conscious the entire time, and 'enter' the dream state without any loss of consciousness.

Very difficult stuff, but amazing when pulled off.

Seems as tho the in between is the easiest place to do that for me SS hf

Sounds amazing.

So you can just start your dream from the beginning?

Is that preferable to waking within the dream?

:)
 Quoting: Seer777

Yes, I start the dream in the beginning. I can 'see' the dream state manifesting into my mind. It comes like a very faint moving picture in the darkness. It feels' as if I hover around it, as if trying to lock myself to it. Once I am aligned properly I 'insert' myself into the picture.

It is preferable because you are fully conscious the entire time, and you don't have to 'trigger' lucidity. Though, for me, I do not 'trigger' lucidity anymore. Most times it is just there. In other words, the majority of the time, I always know I am dreaming when I am dreaming.

BUT, there are many different conscious layers I am talking about, so it is not so cut and dry as it seems.

Tornado italy 27 or 28th Nov.

Are they common in that area? I don't recall seeing any others

Looks like they are not so common this time of the year!

Venice tornado 12 June 2012 Veneto, Italy
Veneto Tornado Outbreak 23 July 2010 Veneto, Italy
Vallà (Riese Pio X) Tornado 6 June 2009 Riese Pio X, Veneto, Italy
Salboro (Padua) Tornado 6 July 2008 Padua, Veneto, Italy

Before that the last tornado was like 1985 I guess

Ss,

What did you encounter when slipping past the crack of the world?

What is your barrier like? Describe it.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

i kind of just did in the above response. It is similar to other 'places' looming in the darkness. They come one at a time though. Like looking at a screen with it's edges fading into blackness. Sometimes the screens images are fuzzy and blurry, sometimes they are sharp and very clear. Sometimes there is a lack of color (like last nights) and the living colors are very faded and the setting is 'dark', like it is night out. Sometimes it is indescribable in detail, like an impossible high definition experience.

Usually it would be similar to rectangular with rounded corners.

But, it all varies. For example, last night I manifested a dream state by moving my light body's hand and concentrating on it to fully form it, and the dream spread out from my hand.

There are many different ways I have found.

 Quoting: aether

to be fair to our subconscious mind it by default fits into whatever environment it discovers it`self within because there is no location within our material or non material universe it is not knowing of because it knows our universe
that being said it by default incorporates what our conscious self insists is reality also into it`s/our conscious process as best it can causing the least harm to ourselves generally

the habits we form into our subconscious generally are our beliefs (tradition) infused into us by whomever looks after us and generally those are accepted because within our magnetosphere because there never existed, since the end of our golden age, emotional/practical information of any significant difference to all the information that had always existed since the golden age end

it is only within our past few decades our informational emotional environmental state has begun to alter thus prompting the possibility of our infusing our subconscious with transformational emotional information unlike any imagined within our past including our golden age

disagree.

the above bolded is just the sort of statement that expresses the root of the problem.

we do not infuse our subconscious, it infuses *us*.

gosh, this backwards conceptualization just grates on me:

the subconcious rules us. it points the light of our narrow concious window. the concious is the *result* of the subconcious, just as thoughts (the most obvious expression of the concious, are the last emergence in mind function.

hell on earth is believing the lies (or more properly, the misunderstandings) of the concious mind: of Lucifer. It is our own ideas which torture us....

lol : we even interpretted the birth of the concious m
 Quoting: aether
m and the apple) as a PUNISHMENT and now we worship it as the guiding light in our society.

such folly.

as soon as we stop listenning to the idea/thoughts (concious) and begin listenning to the emotion/thoughts (subconcious) the sooner we will find the new path vector. your life.

we need to get fuckin *over* our intellect and realize its true function within the greater mind, which process is largely opaque to our observation.

bleh.

useless ranting, really : the time will come.

patience grasshopper.

patience

hey there
i believe, if you read my response to what you have highlighted, you and i are saying similar excluding a few thought formed labels present within your post

yes.

i have a hard time interpreting u , aether... lol, always have. i have this tenuous feeling that we share similar perspectives, but when i look for it your actual words, i get all confused and turned around + i've seen you go all symbolic and visual, which i like, but don't always understand.

which is why i was responding to mister incorrect observer guy.

I have had many similar experiences. Sometimes the 'visions' take form out of the darkness and seem to be dreamlike in color...almost glowing with pale lights.

However, on a few occasions the 'picture' seems to have a definite boundary to it...separating it from a seemingly speckled background. In my experience, the shape has always been round when perceived as two dimensional, with only a hint at a spherical third dimension aspect.

But are there any bodily sensations or auditory sensations that come before or during the visual developments?

No. I am fully aware of my body, but I do not 'feel' my body. Robert Monroe called this state, "Mind Awake, Body Asleep".

If I decided to pull out of it and 'wake up', my body would be tingling with a very fine but intense energy.

So the dream arrives separate of you?

You watch it coming in?

As in, it is being sent?

I've often wondered what it would be like to be in a haunted environment such as that. How well would I fare?

What would the interaction be like? What happens in an environment like that to a person able to suspend belief, stop the world.

Would such 'spirits' avoid me or be annoyed by my presence?

What if one took the techniques discussed in Castaneda's works about how to attract an 'inorganic being' into a haunted house.

What if you walked into one, sat indian style, and achieved inner silence for an hour or two...then randomly, screamed an outburst of pure emotion, then achieved inner silence again and waited.

That's how they did it int he desert near a water hole. I believe they usually had a small fire going though.

Just randomly musing here.

No, I have never entered a dream when the 'visions' seem to materialize like that.

Just before entering a dream, a 'picture' popes up...maybe like it was moving fast towards me from a distance. I can't be sure because just before it appears a loud noise startles me. The picture had a definite boundary to it and was round shaped. If I allowed it to come forward I cross over into it and it becomes a dream.

My childhood dreams consisted of many haunting's such as that but was weaved around were wolfs. In the dream that I had where I ended up in front of the Thor's helmet nebula taught me something significant. Like I share with you on the other thread. I believe those are doorways in our mind that have to unlocked in our dreams that are either accessible or in accessible thru our conscious actions and fear that have to be over come. You are probably at a greater advantage at this point in your life to being able to sit still while horror abounds around you and respond in a wave of love which dispells than before

Re: X Marks the Spot
The 'visions' are only similar to a dream. Once I had one of a white lion flashing its teeth at me...looking like it was roaring. Soon after I had another where I seemed to be moving through a canopy of trees. The leaves weren't 'green' exactly. They seemed to glow instead of reflect light. Then I saw what looked like a car's red tail light moving through the canopy. As the vision pulled back a bit, it looked like a car was moving along a road that I could not see. It was dark...nighttime.
