It varies. Sometimes it feels like it may be being 'sent'.

Sometimes I will manifest shapes within the darkness and the shapes I make (very, very, very faint within the darkness) seem to attract dreamscapes...this is hard to describe...

The dreamscapes begin manifesting around the shapes, with the shapes contained within the manifesting dream. As if the dream is being built around the shapes I manifest.

To answer your questions directly:

Yes, I am separate from the dream the majority of the time, and I have to consciously 'insert' myself into the dream.

Yes, I watch it coming in.

I do not know if it is being sent, or I am traveling to it (it feels like I am not moving though), or, I am manifesting it and it is 'opening' up so I can insert myself into it. It is most likely all the above. I know my subconscious is manifesting aspects of it, but I do feel there are other 'things' manifesting it as well. Whether it be the supraconscious, or other thought forms in the non-material, etc.

As I said, it is not black and white.

that all begun to happen for me when I dropped my indoctrinated and preconceived notions about the universe and world based on organized religion SS ;)

Perhaps, but not everyone is a talented dreamer. I am certainly not.

I don't know what the difference between sending out love and sending out anger would be. I only know that anger is something I understand and can project a lot of that emotion at once if I choose.

As I understood it, the point of the stalking tecnique was to demonstrate to the 'inorganic being' one's impeccable control over one's emotions. Going from one extreme to the other, and immediately going back to silence is a powerful demonstration.

As I don't know how to project 'love' on the same scale as furious anger, I would go with anger if I were to try it.

But that is just me...and I doubt I would ever try such a thing. Seems to be asking for trouble.

As I was recalling the one and only time I have ever experienced something similar.

It was accompanied by what sounded like a metal grate being kicked open.

I had a very strange thing happen last night that I am still a little shaken from. I believe I had a vision but have had only one similar experience in my life and that ended badly. I will try to explain to the best of my abilities.
Last night I had woken from a strange dream. I turned over in bed and was thinking about it and trying to glean any relevant information from it. When a spontaneous vision occurred.

The Vision:
This all took place in less than half of 1 second. Like the snap of a finger.

I was laying there when I heard a very loud noise. Like someone had just kicked a metal grating. In the instant I heard the noise I saw an image. The image stretched into what looked like a gigantic canvas. I could see the corner edges.

In my field of view was only what I can describe as an old world painting. The ones that there are so many characters that you can look at it for hours just taking in each person, angel, etc. What I saw was not pleasant. Every inch of my "canvas" was filled with beings. I could see their muscles, that they were all nearly naked, and that they were demonic looking. Very human in form but not in face. Hundreds of them.

I shook very strangely almost in three waves. I was left breathless. When the vision ended, 1/2 second later I was breathing very heavy, like I had just ran a mile and had stopped to catch my breath. The sound i heard did not have a physical source in this reality and the vision did not come from me. As I laid there, composing myself and taking in what I had just seen, the thought that I had just seen Hell, came over me.

I got the impression the noise I heard was a portal that had just been opened.

This was not a dream. I feel that one of you has the answer to what just happened. I liken it to the people who talk in tongues and someone else will rise to interpret. Thanks for reading

I believe that sound to be a manefestation of what Castaneda described as 'the crack of the world'...or the barrier between the world of 'reality' and the world of dreams.

I believe it is different for different people. For me it was the sound of rushing water...or perhaps a jet engine. I have encountered it several times...and it is always the same type of sound for me.

I have had it more times than I can count. Most times it is a 'rushing' sound, like a roaring wind. For me, the sound doesn't come around anymore. But, it is associated with some type of transition your light bodies are going through at that time. Next time it happens, go with it. Ride the sound and you will be in for a shocker if you can make it all the way. Basically, you are transiting to a higher frequency layer of 'astral', or whatever you want to call it. When 'riding' the sound, it can shake you all over the place. You physically 'feel' the sound like a tornado. It can be very difficult to remain in the correct state of consciousness to fully ride the wind and make the transition.

i experienced the grating metal upon metal just the once
i was awake but laying in bed in night dark and in that era of my life i was content to experience thought forms as real, i still am really.
i believe the thought form topic and my attitude to them is linked to the grating experience because i had satanist occult (their term) interested in me prompting me to be interested in them
the stage their and my relationship had reached was me interested in what one of them told me which was they were involved in the occult because only they could emotionally reach the bottom of hell and return and because of this they had over many years become trusted by the occult leadership and above leading past satan to the original satan
what they told me was with them on the inside and me being me it was possible for them to alter the original satan because it would allow them and only them access

the day of me being told this story i experienced the grating sound above my head to the front of me accompanied by the distinct feeling something has arrived

nothing more happened in the grating event and my subsequent conclusion to the satanist/occult proved satisfactory over the next few linear years

not exactly as the original story but rather an improvised version formed as all went along in keeping with mood at the time

I don't believe I experience it anymore, but I could be wrong. The last time I experienced it was in the laundry room with the old man. At that time, I was wide awake and walking, having just witnessed something that was literally unbelievable. The sound was slightly different...it started off sounding like some sort of a machine or an engine starting up. Then it got louder and louder until it was a deafening rushing water/jet engine type of sound.

I think it is associated with 'changing speed' (of perception) or entering into a heightened state of awareness.

What you describe reminds me of when I was at my sister in law's a year or two ago. I had knelt down and was trying to talk to their dog who was outside. The window was open and all that separated us was a screen door.

The dog and I were right up against the screen door and suddenly barked at me, and I became strangely aware that time seemed to slow down. I could actually feel the energy of the bark flow through my body, and the dog's disposition changed immediately afterwards. It started panting with it's tongue hanging out and wagging its tail. I went outside and it was delighted to play with me for about ten minutes.

Altered shape is the simple answer. As shape is the general formulation of function. Tonal and chromal properties deviate within said form and we realize the feedback.

I hear all this talk of cleansed pineals and godhead awareness and I ask: If you do not know what you see/sense before you, as you do not have an open paradigm to ascertain difference in effect and the vocabulary to mechanize it into form; How is all the data in the world going to help you as you are not aware of how to measure effect? and then analogize it to alter percieved form in others mindseye?
