i think i know what you are getting at when you say "base" desires vs 'higher' desires. folks usually point to profiteers, and wicked sex workers, elitists and so forth, calling all "base" and "profane". and then drawing some kinda link to the animal kingdom as if the two somehow are connected.

from our earths emotional view our moon twice a month disturbs it under our new sol configuration
at full moon gets entangled in earth tail and at new moon gets in the way of our suns communications
from the moons emotional view it is where it is and nothing can be done about that and it once a months has to put up with being immersed in earths emotions once a month
