none of that = issue with death as an event to ponder
only confirms an event to avoid until you don`t because living is what you enjoy
 Quoting: aether

Are you asking if a dog contemplates it's own death?

hmm

I would think no.

But I do know they mourn.

So, there is some sentient understanding therein.

How much time they spend reflecting on it, we can't know.

At least right now.

i detect only people ponder dieing as in:
what happens

everything naturally avoids it until they do not (common sense)
 Quoting: aether

i believe mourning is only a fraction of their visible expressive consciousness because we (people) are just ourselves re orientating our interest in consciousness thus are prompted to notice a wider selection of what we allow to be called consciousness

remember in our current belief leadership "laws"
god, angels and man are the only possessors of consciousness
and
because god made man in his image
if it doesn`t act like a man
it can never be conscious
whatever it is

our memory tells in another era we died like this

Men lived like gods without sorrow of heart, remote and free from toil and grief: miserable age rested not on them; but with legs and arms never failing they made merry with feasting beyond the reach of all devils. When they died, it was as though they were overcome with sleep, and they had all good things; for the fruitful earth unforced bare them fruit abundantly and without stint. They dwelt in ease and peace.

That sounds lovely.

Being able to create ones reality at will, would be nice as well.

That is how I imagine 4D or the Afterlife.

A kind of 'choose you own adventure' type thing.

How else could 'one' make Eternity fun?

It should be fun right?

I would think yes.

Hopefully.

It's certainly not all fun. But it's not suppose to be.

One finds forward progress with difficulty. Fun is found by doing what one loves and is exciting.

How balanced that is in an individual is up to their choices.

It's something I have frequently pondered on since childhood.

Eternity.

How to make it enjoyable...?

I figured for myself, it would be a bit of a living different lives in different incarnations. On different planets, and different species all together.

To live a complete cycle in each to learn the lessons of each incarnation. Continuing to progress forward as a soul or essence, or whatever it is which remains.

Or perhaps just hanging out formless for awhile.

In eternity it seems, all things are possible.

Electric Biology

Experiments with electrostatic fields might illuminate biological diversity.

A major problem in biology is the internal motion of proteins. Researchers from the University of Pennsylvania using Magnetic Resonance Imaging were surprised to discover that the calmodulin protein molecule possesses an internal "jitter" that shakes it billions of times per second. This revelation led them to conclude that it is not merely the complex folded shape of such molecules that affects their function, but their internal movement.

According to Dr. Joshua Wand, “The situation is akin to the discussion in astrophysics in which theoreticians predict that there is dark matter, or energy, that no one has yet seen.”

Where the internal energy necessary for protein binding comes from is unknown at the present time, but it seems likely, based on research with electrostatic fields on various organisms, that there is an electrical component to the source. Cell walls are arranged in a double layer configuration with positive and negative ion channels built-in.

A book called The Primeval Code (Der Urzeit-Code) was recently published in Switzerland, detailing experiments that demonstrate how a changing electric field can alter gametes so much that new species are created.

According to author Luc Bürgin, "In laboratory experiments the researchers there Dr. Guido Ebner and Heinz Schürch exposed cereal seeds and fish eggs to an 'electrostatic field' – in other words, to a high voltage field, in which no current flows..................

Galactic Fireballs
Dec 19, 2012

Images of the Coma Cluster from the Subaru Telescope reveal galactic filaments connecting bright “knots” of ionized gas.

According to redshift calculations, the Coma Cluster is a sphere of galaxies 3.5 million light years in diameter over 300 million light years from Earth. The cluster is one of the most compact mass accumulations in the observable Universe with more than 1000 galaxies grouped together inside a haze of gas and dust that has been measured at a temperature of 100 million Kelvin. Astronomers continue to puzzle over the intense X-rays blaring out from Coma’s central region, a finding that has, thus far, eluded theoretical explanation.

Scientists analyzing data from the Subaru Telescope discovered a “threadlike structure” emerging from RB199, one of the larger elliptical galaxies inhabiting the cluster. The filament extends approximately 260,000 light years from RB199 and contains groups of stars in close association that are enclosed by glowing, ionized shells. Researchers refer to these rapidly moving star cluster knots as “fireballs,” because they look like flaming projectiles shooting out from the galaxy.

What caused the compact clumps of stars to form? ...............

Lets see, the facts, we exist. The fact, no life has ever been observed to form spontaneously. So if you believe it did, then you believe in something against the observed data.
 Quoting: observation

I don't believe anything regarding this question. Whether or not non-living matter can turn into life or not does not change anything. In both cases the conclusion must be that life has always been part of an eternal universe. It doesn't take much thinking to realize this.
Your problem is that you are desperately seeking "beginnings" in order to prove the supernatural. Even though the supernatural per definition cannot be proven.
Wouldn't it be better to just accept the observed data. Life as such exists. It never began.
 Quoting: observation

So you believe science to be wrong when it says for every effect there must be a cause? One of the main tenets of scientific belief. So how does an eternal universe without a cause not violate cause and effect or creation from nothing, the two top tenets that separate science from mythology? So since we are here, then one of the above two tenets of science is incorrect. Take your pick.
 Quoting: observation

An eternal universe never started.

Creation from nothing is not a tenet of science. It's mysticism, and yes, often found in in mythologies.

i see
what our "issue" is
our memory (self) has a beginning to us (self aware)
hence we have an issue imagining we are within something (2) that does not possess the same "issue" as us.

now the strange part is i possess a memory that is eternal (to me)
no matter how far back i go (forever) i am always me within the same all else but me (2)
in my memory i have a linear (local) gap

You have memory of consciousness before birth?

eternity to me
non material
in same non material dimension (location)
me in material dimension (now) here
non material to material direction sequence

remembering i "died" to travel, as we all do
so there is a linear gap in my memory of being non material seeing where i was going to being me at nearly 3 years of age knowing what i know from memory

 Quoting: aether

because my memory exists before my gap and i am within the location where i experienced (lived) through what i do not remember (gap), my gap is not an issue to me

When is a capacitor not a device for storing charge in an elector-static manner?

This question continues to bug me above all others. When i read explanations about elector-static charge
those explanation have the same sound to my brain as those applied to the accumulation of charge to
the plates of a capacitor. When speaking about planetary bodies and double layers i get the same
impression that electrostatic charge is occurring, it is just a different scale.
The difference in size seems to not change the principles when considering a leaky-capacitor as it is
described -wrt- the relation between earth's electrical environment and that of an electronics capacitor
which uses an air gap as a dielectric. So when we think about a moon or asteroid i get the impression that
the difference is the thickness and characteristics of the dielectric. Were it not for the ratified properties
of lunar and martian atmospheres it seems that we'd be seeing a light show of considerable intensity and
frequency and yet we still have a leaky capacitor storing up charge and releasing it when the potential
exceeds the thresh-hold of dielectric breakdown
. I've recently read that the constituents within an
atmosphere define the color of the discharge, nitrogen -being at high levels in earth's atmosphere- gives us
specific coloration but this relates to the visible mode of a discharge. What then can be said about the
non-visible mode of discharges, what do we use as a reference for their activity when we are not standing
there to see the disturbance of material which announces their presence?

The flashes seen on our moon should be accompanied by a surface alteration, craters.
Can we say that plumes are a dark-mode manifestation?
 Quoting: observation

In many experiments, at low power levels, an electric winds had a major role in re-organizing material,
as did elector-magnetic activity, often displacing material well beyond the region of any arc that occurred.
I've even seen tiny craters form beyond the perimeter of a large crater which was the result of more dark-mode
discharge than arc-mode.
So i must ask the question, are the effects of a dark-mode discharge independent of atmospheric density and
the mechanistical movement of air?
In experiments with a vacuum chamber setup the features formed were only slightly different than those made
outside the chamber
which could only drop to around 20 in hg? d...z

Earth: A Self-repairing Capacitor

One electrical device which serves as a model for cosmic plasma activity is the capacitor. A capacitor is a device for accumulating and storing electric charge. It is made of two conductors separated by an insulating medium. When charge is placed on one conductor it attracts charge of the opposite polarity on the other conductor. As a result, an electric field is set up between the conductors, a reservoir of electrical energy........................
