strange but true in our past week i have been prompted day and night several times to walk quite long distances (50 to 100 ft plus) with my eyes closed on our sidewalk
no clue why

the sensation for the first 4 or 5 paces is adjustment/slight tension then it`s lovely to feel the way
i open my eyes when intuition prompts and no slowing in walking pace and no close encounters with other people whom are walking also
8 or 9 times but not for a day or so
a prompt i never possessed before
 Quoting: aether

I love that.

Haha.

I don't think I could make it 100 feet without opening my eyes...unless I knew for sure the coast was clear.

lol.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Exactly, A mind or reaction with dimensional directionality must have gone there before to pave the portents of potentiality.

And at least one conciousness must have been up to the task of stripping away all that it was to disconnect from the separators of time and pointed perspective: As memory can/could only be erased through balanced or perfected reaction.

Or it never was and therein contained all potentials as a doorway.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflattus

i like the sensation of that
feels nice
it`s like i am seeing/being it nearly me but it is another saying, not me
i like it , thank you for sharing dion

the odd bit for me is this
the first time out of nowhere i have to walk with my eyes closed
i was excited to do it and doing it was even nicer
nuts
each time since
i was never thinking of the time before
it is never in the same location
and i have no idea why i suddenly out of nowhere desire strongly to walk eyes shut and love the sensation of doing it
it feels to me there is a thicker texture to what is in front of me when i do it and walking through the thicker texture feels nice and i sense through the thicker texture what is also within it (other people)
so it is not seeing, i don`t get visuals, i get sensation from thicker "air"
it`s my environment effect i like

an interesting pastime aether,,

with eyes closed could you simply not throw an object high,, with one hand,, and catch it with the other by feeling its ending path in mind,,

this would perhaps further the realisation,, that we need not eyes to see,,

somthing you may try without having to go out into the colded night,,

both are realised forms of intuitive play,, and teach the same depth of mindfull elastivity,, yet the latter is often warmer,,

much love,,

hmm

In what regard?

Without physical sense of any kind...there would be nothing...?

scratching

It reminds me of a question I asked a blind man, when I was 8. He came to my school to speak during one of the school assemblies.

Students were allowed to ask questions and I asked him what 'color he saw?'

I figured that 'blind' meant to live in a type of sheet of 'one color'.

For example, if one closes their eyes while decreasing light exposure the color will change behind the eyelids.

From red to blue, to what have you.

He said to me, "Imagine trying to see out of your elbow..."

It still sticks with me to this day.

I thought you meant no senses at all...

Kind of a scary thought.

Is there only Mind without sense?

How would that work?

I guess all there would be is attraction...but even that it seems, would be some type of touch and sensation.

Why do they spin?

could be true

There are two categories of blind people
(1). Who are blind by birth : These people do not see colors in their dream. Their dreams includes only noises & emotions.

(2). Who became blind due to any happening in life: These people see colors in their dreams but the intensity of the colors is associated with the time when they last seen the colors in their original life before being blind.

Re: X Marks the Spot
Many people who are born blind claim to "see" images in their dreams, but what they're actually referring to is an experience, rather than a picture. In the Hartford study, a congenitally blind 46-year-old man reported a dream in which he went to the hospital to see his first grandchild. Upon questioning, it came to light that what he referred to as "seeing the baby for the first time" actually meant the experience of meeting him, hearing him cry and holding him. Similar experiences were reported by other study participants, who also referred to "seeing" when describing scenes from their dreams, even though the scenes were based completely on tactile and auditory memories. Not in the least. Otherness is exemplary of misunderstanding and finitude. Being outside is an action of conciousness and sight.

Again, A question of density and temporary separation.

By definition, definitions are systemic and to be understood one must be within that space or have passed through it.

Only 1 stands both within and without as 1 is without understanding and as such measurement to encompass it within ( a system)
