Theories on the Rocks – In a Flash (Part Three)
Aug 29, 2012

‘Thunderstones’ in the form of tektites – Did human beings watch them falling?

As an additional possibility of no small importance, the concept of the thunderstone may have been sparked by a conflation of lightning with meteors which, on occasion, do deposit rocks onto the surface of the earth. François Lenormant, Allan Cardinall, Gerald Wainwright, Robert Temple and Alastair McBeath are among the many scholars who recognised the ultimate thunderstone in the meteorite as it was seen to fall. Temple identified an interesting geographic distribution between areas more likely to experience thunderbolts or meteorite falls respectively:

‘In Egypt, where thunder and lightning are rare because of the climate, it is meteors which are seen rather than thunderbolts, and meteorites which are retrieved from the place where a heavenly object has struck the ground. But in Greece and Italy, where thunder and lightning are extremely common, it is thunderbolts which are commonly seen, and which repeatedly strike the earth.....................

Peratt (Los Alamos) found that the plasma column was seen by the ancients near the south pole and it was last seen there as the Earth was moving away from Saturn during the breakup. So, shortly after the petroglyphs of the plasma column were made the Great Flood must have occurred.

Nearly all the petroglyphs are in the mountains, so one can only conclude that the tsunamis wiped out the low lying areas and the survivors painted and etched what they saw after that in those mountains.

Prominent Scientists sign Declaration that Animals have Conscious Awareness, just like us

..........The body of scientific evidence is increasingly showing that most animals are conscious in the same way that we are, and it's no longer something we can ignore.

What's also very interesting about the declaration is the group's acknowledgement that consciousness can emerge in those animals that are very much unlike humans, including those that evolved along different evolutionary tracks, namely birds and some cephalopods........

related:

"the machine theory that came along in the 17th century gave a different kind of theology. God was like a machine maker who designed and made all the machinery of life as it were from outside. It was casting god in the image of technological man. God was like an engineer and a mathematician and the forms and purposes of things came from outside not from inside. When living organisms were thought of as organisms they possessed their own purposes, their own goal. What this revolution did was took the purposes and goals and shapes and forms , the designs, as they were called out of living organisms and put them outside nature into the mind of god"

now this story makes sense:

The Tower of Babel
1 And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.
2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.
3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them thoroughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for mortar.
4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city, and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.
5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.
6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.
7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
8 So the LORD scattered them abroad from thence upon the face of all the earth: and they left off to build the city.
9 Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the LORD did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the LORD scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.

Just finished some books at the link, provided. Much review, having no formal teacher, yet experiancing the oscillating soul, on my own in the "astrol". In the still quill of the mind of the observer..

Interesting to note that in 1887, there was words written, that my mind thinks.

Yet astronomy is different then astrology.. and i care for neither.

This line holds the key: there is another way of reading, which is, indeed, the only one of any use with many authors. It is reading, not between the lines, but within the words. In fact, it is deciphering a profound cypher. 1887.

All philosophy, alchemy and poetry is written in this form. I learned this by re-viewing my own words and their meanings after pressing the mind of the soul forward and speaking from the mind, not the brain.

Hmmmm so very true. That, i learned on my own. As is written, the deciple must put the bit in his own mouth.

No "riding crop" necessity. Lmfao! No bit, necessity. Much of this is review.

I will devour "the rest" and see what occurs to me.. perhaps more of the same. ;)

Thanks again.

Thanks again for the link.

Truly, time is seam-less. ;) off to read some childerens books. Perhaps, stepping out, would find meaning in the above quote.. " Harmony is the law of life, discord its shadow, whence spring suffering, the teacher, the awakener of consciousness."

Since, i have seen this is his way.. when i first met him. Thrusting yoirself forward as the answer. It is a double edged s word. If in error, the correction is found, if correct, the correct is found. Either side of the s word provides the correct.

Yes, that is two esses. ;)

The story of Babel as told, as relayed through the Biblical text, tells the story of a very sadistic god. And imparted some very good information. Information that there was (and is) a universality of species language, until there was not.
The term derives from the Ancient Greek words, meta, meaning beyond or after, and noia, meaning perception or understanding or mind.
