Yes...just before the phantoms arrived and turned the golden eagle black as night.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

what we have discovered is that it was our gods in heaven that simultaneously prompted us to fight, by their example, as they provided us with a new environment to fight within
 Quoting: aether

we have by our own discovery discovered how to provide everything our lifestyle requires without work or fight

but

is that what our gods desire is the current debate of our belief leadership whom have found themselves leading humanity in this questionable era
 Quoting: aether

We have so much time to develop our spirit. Technology has given us this extra time.

Yet the masses are conditioning themselves to fill this time with entertainment and superficial indulgence.

I suppose one could make the point that focusing all our attention (as was done in previous era's) on basic survival needs develops spiritual growth and the exercise of intent in an efficient manner.

But it has led us to today. So to regress back to the point of basic struggles for food and shelter may bring back a semblance of that spiritual connection.

But is this truly moving forward? I say if the masses want to be entertained...those who have the gifts to entertain should give them a show they will not easily forget.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

exactly passive entertainment over active creation. It evolves the conciousness in a veal cage.

Yeah. The Caddo Indians. Much of my childhood was spent wandering the miles and miles of woods behind my house. Sometimes alone. Sometimes with friends. Many great adventures were had in those woods...and many wars between neighborhood factions. Kids dressed up in full camouflage and plastic guns with the absolute assurance that our tactics would prevail.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

i did the same as a kid, we all did, re enacted the noble role of battle in the current costumes of the day

everyone was pleased we were normal to do so

society then expected us to stop when we became a little older and only utilize our fighting skills when our government ordered us to fight

funny that, being born into a society structured to fight
 Quoting: aether

True. But I see it more as a society structured to obey. We are natural fighters. The government trains us to be benign enough to obey; but when true war breaks out they suddenly want to train us to unleash the beast within us.

In times of 'peace' they fail to keep us totally benign. So they invent perceived social issues to keep us aimed at one another. In times of 'war' they simply pull the cultural social differences from the facade and place it out front. Then they let us unleash our frustration with them on another peoples equally frustrated with their own government.

It's a clever game. I don't understand why they want to end it so soon. Global government is just a bubble that will unavoidable grow and pop without a perceived outside culture to focus our dissatisfaction on.

That is, as long as petty tyrants stand at the pinnacle of perceived power...or as long as we continue to fail to understand that we are at war within ourselves.
 Quoting: Jonny Blaze

To toss in my too (S)cents. Fighting is created from stifled creative urge. The laying atop of one potential for another.

Artificial scarcity not only creates fear but a looping agenda that self justifies and frustrates. This creates the desired aggression and vector.
 Quoting: Dionysian Fullaflattus

True. I would add that artificial scarcity is not so artificial when applied to the average mortal man trapped in his own perceptions while discarding the possibility of his unavoidable and perhaps imminent encounter with death.
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Re: X Marks the Spot
motive

people require the motive that motivates their senses outside of their traditional motivational sense and it needs to be practical . as in:
redefinition of both people and their environment (universe) people are people within

nothing less will satisfy expectation because we possess nothing within our past that satisfies our present expectation

And oddly enough our epicurean society has created an aversion to death over all else.

Imo, making truth a pale agenda second to survival. Rather Ironic since it is unavoidable.

But, it quite glaringly shows us the agenda inside of this Bedlam.

What "regulates it" is our system of measurement: meters and seconds. These are calibrated against electromagnetic forces (light) and so by definition light's local speed is exactly the same everywhere. The constancy of light speed is not an experimental fact but a useful protocol that agrees with previous historical measurement protocols such as the standard meter (a collection of atoms held together by electromagnetic forces) and the "ticking" of the clock in the human brain (also controlled by electro-chemical forces).
 Quoting: nasa themis

swinger you getting what language nasa is talking to us in now

OK, they are crossing genres. About time. Also, whether intended or not, they are using some very interesting keywords.

E/M forces is LIGHT. Wow...is that a direct quote?

What are the 'forces' of E/M? Charge and Field

This is crazy. They are speaking exactly 'our language'. No particles of light are mentioned. No 'photons'. Amazingly, they mention spatial and temporal effects do to the speed of light being a constant. Basically, light's constancy allows stability in the spatial dimension, as well as temporal! The constant of light (E/M forces) allows the stability within a collection of atoms to remain cohesive. Perhaps if light (E/M forces) fluctuated, then sometimes the atoms would lose cohesion, and sometimes they would collapse into themselves. LIGHT's constancy prevents this!

Now, put that same general concept into the electro-chemical signatures of the human brain. If Light wasn't a constant, I do not see how a brain could function properly, as the electric signals the brain sends and receives would fluctuate. Wow, that's a scary thought.

The language they are speaking is more 'pure', IMO.

Anyone see this movie?
First there were birds leading her to an escape rout. Then another bird who led her to a large nail to defend her self. then a white pure horse was waiting for her to help her escape. Then... the very large white pure elk with antlers like a tree bowing to her blessing her.

I thought it was a good movie ;)

odd ball story from this morning, I had a dream my ID number would change here. I know weird why would I dream something so silly? I was talking to my self in my dream saying I didn't want to change my id number, I liked those numbers. but every time there is a storm here, thats bad I will lose power. and my id will change. I woke up kinda startled I don't know why really. my eyes opened looked at my clock it was blinking. well it really happened. I lost power. but the funny thing is none of the other digital clocks in my house were blinking just my clock.

strange..

and my number changed...
