Exactly. When it is internal...applied to self...it is in it's correct context.

When it is external...applied to others it becomes out of context if one is expecting a specific result.

It must be treated as a last battle in both cases. In your last battle, you don't care what the outcome is, because you won't be around to witness the results or take advantage of any perceived gains.

It is simply an expression of your innermost predilection. If it is worthy, then what difference do the results make?
