Exactly, simulation, system test, lol. And isn't that why extremes exist in the first place? To find the boundaries of a system by constantly pushing against the known specifications. It drives all science and consciousness.

Re: X Marks the Spot
conscious = motive = motivated from inside outwards = spin

what we are describing and utilizing on this and other threads is the visible signs of conscious process
 Quoting: aether

expression of spin is transient time variance by design

thus there is always enough things spinning (conscious material expression)at any one moment to sustain/retain synergistic effect within our material dimension
 Quoting: aether

Yes I was just considering 'unconscious' self perpetuating spin.

For instance the Earth, rotates around the Sun, and revolves itself on Her axis.

Day and night.

In a closed loop system complete balance needs nothing to exist except that which are the defining elements.

The Earth, a perfectly balanced being into and of itself, relies on the rays of Sun to touch her Waters to impart Life on her surface.

Remove either variable and the system collapses.

Also, the heart and lungs as mentioned, seem to work more or less on their own accord with our attention unnecessary unless complications occur. Air and blood.

hmm

To apply consciousness then to something like the torus energy sphere as far as a type of automatic system as humans enjoy as the heart and lung system, then perhaps leaves room for the 'potential'.

lol.

I'm not sure where I am going with this.

Just a musing.

Yep. It takes a special kind of crazy to attempt it.

"One needs love for life, for intrigue, for mystery. One needs unquenchable curiosity and guts galore."
The engravings translate to "This space intentionally left blank."

The prayer is inscribed in an ancient script, rarely used today. It seems to be a philippic against small insects, absent-mindedness, and the picking up and dropping of small objects.

The gate is open; through it you can see a desolation, with a pile of mangled bodies in one corner. Thousands of voices, lamenting some hideous fate, can be heard.
The way through the gate is barred by evil spirits, who jeer at your attempts to pass.

Hehe, ya I've been thinking about the horizon which defines the density of Earth's present place in existence. The ionosphere, Soul Sun; and the necromantic plane, earth. I believe this horizon is literally the gateway all Necromancers must master.

Sometimes I picture the compass of the Mason's sign as the converging of these planes, to form said horizon or axis.

But I spend a lot of time thinking about what it'd really take to raise a few hundred people at once; or maybe more eventually, after some practice.

I would think so...

Following this train of thought then...Man's energy whether intended toward the positive vs. non-positive could and perhaps DOES push Natural disasters.

Or, instead perhaps the Earth communicates said distress to the sensitive who then pick up on the vibe and translate it accordingly.

I would assume if either the case, both would occur.

No need to imagine.

The stories are everywhere...

The Story of Atrahasis.

Sumerian Great Deluge Myth.
[link to faculty.gvsu.edu]

Wall, listen constantly to me!
Reed hut, make sure you attend to all my words!
Dismantle the house, build a boat, . . .
Roof it like the Apsu
So the sun cannot see inside it!
Make upper decks and lower decks,
The tackle must be very strong,
The bitumen [a kind of tar] strong . . . (Dalley 29-30)

Atrahasis gathers the elders of Shuruppak and makes up an excuse to leave town: he says that Enki and Enlil are angry with each other and that Enki has commanded him to go down to the water's edge. Which he does, and there he builds his boat and fills it with every type of animal (the text is fragmentary here) and his family. Adad begins to thunder, and sick with impending doom ("his heart was breaking and he was vomiting bile"), Atrahasis seals up the door of the boat with bitumen (Dalley 31).

The storm and flood turn out to be more than the gods bargained for:

Like a wild ass screaming the winds howled
The darkness was total, there was no sun. . . .
As for Nintu the Great Mistress,
Her lips became encrusted with rime.
The great gods, the Annuna,
Stayed parched and famished.
The goddess watched and wept . . . (Dalley 31-32)

The great mother goddess complains bitterly about Enlil and Anu's shortcomings as decision-makers, and she weeps for the dead humans who "clog the river like dragonflies."

The Bronze Age collapse

The Bronze Age collapse is a transition in southwestern Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean from the Late Bronze Age to the Early Iron Age that some

historians believe was violent, sudden and culturally disruptive.

Cultural collapse of the Mycenaean kingdoms, the Hittite Empire in Anatolia and Syria, Egyptian Empire in Syria and Canaan interrupted trade routes and severely reduced literacy. In the first phase of this period,

almost every city between Troy and Gaza was violently destroyed,

and often left unoccupied thereafter: examples include Hattusa, Mycenae, Ugarit.

[link to en.wikipedia.org]

Ok, that's interesting, what else? What else occurred during the 16th century BCE (1599-1500BCE)?

1500BCE: Vedas are composed.
The Vedas (Sanskrit véda, "knowledge") are a large body of texts originating in ancient India. Composed in Vedic Sanskrit, the texts constitute the oldest layer of Sanskrit literature and the oldest scriptures of Hinduism.

Alluded to the existence of Vimanas: mythological flying machines described in Sanskrit epics.

1580 BCE:The Egyptians invented a new and better calendar. It is based on both the moon and a star. They observed the annual appearance of the brightest star in the sky, Sirius. This calendar was more advanced than the Babylonian calendar.

1550 BCE: Stonehenge is built

1540 BCE: History of ancient Israel and Judah—earliest date for Ahmose I founding the Eighteenth dynasty of Egypt.

1534 BC—The oldest dated star chart was made in Ancient Egypt

 Quoting: Seer777

What happened in the 6th Millennium BCE (6000 BCE-5000 BCE)? Obviously the 5189 BCE date is toward the end of the 6th Millennium BCE.

Quote Wiki: During the 6th millennium BC, agriculture spread from the Balkans to Italy and Eastern Europe, and also from Mesopotamia to Egypt. World population was essentially stable at approximately 5 million, though some speculate up to 7 million.
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

What else?
The Eruption of Mt. Etna.

Quote Wiki: Thousands of years ago, the eastern flank of the mountain experienced a catastrophic collapse, generating an enormous landslide in an event similar to that seen in the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens. The landslide left a large depression in the side of the volcano, known as 'Valle del Bove' (Valley of the Ox). Research published in 2006 suggested this occurred around 6000 BC, and caused a huge tsunami, which left its mark in several places in the eastern Mediterranean. It may have been the reason the settlement of Atlit Yam (Israel), now below sea level, was suddenly abandoned around that time.[9]

A massive volcanic landslide off of Mt. Etna, Sicily caused a mega tsunami which devastated the eastern Mediterranean coastline on three continents.(1)
[link to en.wikipedia.org]

I followed the citation and found this:
Here it is:

SAO/NASA ADS Astronomy Abstract Service

Numerical simulations support the occurrence of a catastrophic tsunami impacting all of the eastern Mediterranean in early Holocene. The tsunami was triggered by a debris avalanche from Mt. Etna (Sicily, Italy) which entered the Ionian Sea in the order of minutes. Simulations show that the resulting tsunami waves were able to destabilize soft marine sediments across the Ionian Sea floor. This generated the well-known, sporadically located, ``homogenite'' deposits of the Ionian Sea, and the widespread megaturbidite deposits of the Ionian and Sirte Abyssal Plains. It is possible that, ~8 ka B.P., the Neolithic village of Atlit-Yam (Israel) was abandoned because of impact by the same Etna tsunami. Two other Pleistocenic megaturbidite deposits of the Ionian Sea can be explained by previous sector collapses from the Etna area.

The difference lies in the ability to communicate it on an explainable level. Back then, concepts that correspond to natural phenomena are ascribed to personifications. The context is missing in many ancient accounts due to the lack of understanding of within those chronicles. Things that lack mystery in objective observation take on the subjective mystery of the chronicler. The key lies in sorting what parts of the story is about a personification since the data is corrupted.

Re: X Marks the Spot
I did some more research on other possible volcanic events of note around 3500 years ago. The number of occurrences is a bit eerie. I am sure there are more, this was what I could find in under 10 minutes. Judge for yourself:

The Eruption of Thera site of one of the largest volcanic eruptions in recorded history 3500 years ago.

Rincón de la Vieja Volcano is an active andesitic complex volcano in north-western Costa Rica, about 25 km from Liberia, in the province of Guanacaste. Little is known about Rincón de la Vieja's early eruptive history. It lies within a larger caldera, which indicates that a very large eruption probably occurred thousands of years ago. Analysis of nearby pyroclastic flow deposits shows that they were erupted in a moderately large eruption about 3500 years ago

Mt.St.Helens happened 3500 years ago which produced 13 times more material than in 1980.

Hayes Volcano Southcentral Alaska
1500 BC Hayes Volcano was largely destroyed in its last eruption about 3500 years ago and is difficult to detect, even from the air.

It is believed Chato first erupted 38,000 years ago during the Pleistocene period and last erupted about 3,500 years ago. Costa rica

Aniakchak (Alaska) erupted catastrophically about 3500 years ago and has exhibited much post-caldera activity. It is considered active, and consists of a 10 km-wide by 0.5 to 1.0 km deep caldera that was formed during this major eruptive event.

I am sure there are more but you get the idea. thoughts?
