Something I have considered, and please note this is just a musing...


I have wondered if the 'greys' were in fact once people evolved in the distant, distant future.

Having access to timelines, they can come back to our 'time' if you will, to manipulate or change events in such a way as to either alter their own reality or ours. Perhaps both.
