A few years ago I heard a story of an elementary school which was struggling for funds.

Whichever company owns the Carebears decided to sponsor said school.

While the school received the funding it sought, the classrooms were filled with images of the Carebears and other consumeristic stimuli surrounding young Minds in a classroom setting.


It's a damn shame.
