Anonymous Coward User ID: 865798 United States 12/05/2012 04:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My shield (no, make that empowerment) came from a vision I had. I had been going through the Dark Places on the other-side for about 2 years straight. I was at a complete loss as to how to shake it. I begged for an answer in a lucid dream. Quoting: Septenary Man (When I went lucid in my dreams, I would literally get pulled down into the dark places. If I wanted to continue spiritually, I felt I had to experience the dark places and clean them out. But, I was doing it for years straight, with experiences almost every night.) A female showed up. I begged her to tell me how to stop going down into the darkness. I had tried everything I knew to stop being 'pulled' down there. It was something I didn't want to hear, but at the same time, I knew it was Truth. She only told me three words that changed me utterly. I still remember her smile. Gentle and knowing, her eyes of sadness and understanding. "Stand your ground." I remember another time, I was talking with another female on the other side. It was as if she remembered me from a previous life. We were walking down a beach during the daytime. All of a sudden, another female ran up and fell to her knees right in front of me and wrapped her arms around my legs. She was crying, sobbing with joy. She kept on saying thank you, thank you, thank you. Then she looked up and saw the other female with me, and she said, "This is the one that saved me!" with tears falling down her face. The female I had been talking with said, "You know, you can't save them all." At that point I knew what the female was up to that was walking with me. She was trying to plant seeds. I don't know why, but I thought to myself, Watch me try. Then, I removed her from my area of influence. It seemed like a test was passed because of another female arriving. But, I'm not going to go into that... Geez. This is the stuff I don't talk about. It makes me extremely uncomfortable talking about it. |

Quoting: observation...........Hermetic Qabalah draws on a great many influences, most notably: Jewish Kabbalah, Western astrology, Alchemy, pagan religions, especially Egyptian and Greco-Roman (the latter being from which the term "Hermetic" is derived), neoplatonism, gnosticism, the Enochian system of angelic magic of John Dee and Edward Kelley, hermeticism, rosicrucianism, Freemasonry, tantra and the symbolism of the tarot. Hermetic Qabalah differs from the Jewish form in being a more admittedly syncretic system, however it shares many concepts with Jewish Kabbalah.... .............A primary concern of Hermetic Qabalah is the nature of divinity, its conception of which is quite markedly different from that presented in monotheistic religions; in particular there is not the strict separation between divinity and man which is seen in monotheisms. Hermetic Qabalah holds to the neoplatonic conception that the manifest universe, of which material creation is a part, arose as a series of emanations from the godhead.... This was further developed by Athanasius Kircher, a Jesuit priest, hermeticist and polymath, who wrote extensively on the subject in 1652, bringing further elements such as Orphism and Egyptian mythology to the mix Quoting: ObservationAccording to Joseph MacDonnell, it was "because of Kircher's work that scientists knew what to look for when interpreting the Rosetta stone".
