The Influence of Artemis – “the Mother of All”

The Ephesians regarded their goddess with deep devotion and warm affection.[3] Artemis influenced every aspect of Ephesian life in ways that are difficult for us to imagine.[4] She was worshipped as a fertility goddess, and regarded as both a nursing mother and a virgin.
