True. But I believe it was noted as being lust the angels were originally overcome by when appreciating the beauty of woman. The 'women' were mesmerized by the angels, as you can imagine they would be, and the angels were able to 'take their pick'. If 'female' didn't exist in any regard before 'Eve' why would there even be a phallus on the angels? Why would there be sperm? 
Could the 'missing phallus of Osiris' be a veiled way of telling the same story?
Isis is able to conceive 'Horus' without the phallus and instead, fashions a new one.
