What is it going to take to tip out the old beliefs? Change can occur slowly from the bottom up or rapidly from the top down. Unfortunately, forces from the top tend to favour stasis over change. Modern science has become a monolithic structure funded by governments and tied to political outcomes. Radical change is arguably more difficult to achieve in such a situation than at any time in the past. Funding of dissident scientists is not available, their publication in leading science journals disallowed by the anonymous peer review system and their careers jeopardized. Meanwhile the media lazily accept what they are fed by ‘experts.’

It is perhaps a fitting irony that the Internet, which was built for communication between scientists, now provides the means to bypass censors to reach a global audience. The Omega Project. He was one of the first researchers to begin linking the altered states into one semblance of manifestation. Or, he was doing so with the research he decided on.

Ring, author of Life at Death (Quill: Morrow, 1982), compares the experiences of UFO abductees to the out-of-body journeys of those near death. Initially, his title seems misleading. He mixes a few archetypes and fairy tales with some philosophy and religion, the result of which is a theory regarding the "encounter-prone personality." This type of person represents the spiritual evolution of humankind, people who are tapped into the "Mind at Large"--i.e., a creative, helpful force that will assist us in saving ourselves and our planet from destruction. This book differs from other UFO material in that the question of whether the encounters are real or not is not at issue. The symbolism is what matters, e.g. abductees usually report receiving a physical examination from the aliens. Ring sees this as a warning that we need to examine and to heal ourselves. Loaded with case histories of near-death experiences and UFO encounters, questionnaires, and impressive notes and bibliography, this will appeal to general readers.

That is a very interesting statement. I've never even glimpsed that concept, and it doesn't feel right now that I have.

Gravitational systems are essentially chaotic.

There is some missing information when understanding that last paragraph. I think I have it. Magnetic fields form shape. Gravity does not. Therefor magnetic fields are order, while gravity fields are chaos.

Chaos is too strong a word in my opinion. I suppose that is why they said 'essentially' chaotic. If gravitational systems do not 'shape' the fields (magnetism), then they are not designing the order of bodies.

I have considered the Internet has always existed in some fashion. And we are just now returning to what has always 'been there' Perhaps due to alternate timelines, dimensions, or 'alien' planets.

Do the 'watchers' watch us through this medium? Seems a very convenient method to do so...
