acuk User ID: 32561969 United Kingdom 01/19/2013 04:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good morning, got 6/7 hours woohoo I have the whole day to myself today :) Sep I am glad you got the all clear, I once had to have that damn tube put up me, also another down my throat at the same time, was a moving experience, lol, they found polyps, but they were benign, the doctor told me after the procedure, 'oh you have polyps we are unsure if they are benign or not, and will send you the results in about 3 months, so I walked about for 3 months worrying my mind away, then had to argue for results and finally was given the all clear, I have not seen a doctor since, apart from a&e many many times, I was a teenager then about 18 19, am 34 now, I will not let them tell me anything anymore and if my body is ever to fail or turn on me, so be it, patch me up and send me on my way, another adventure will always follow the one you leave behind, it makes me feel good to know you are good. Luna, you are a sharp one huh, your timing is...impeccable, thank you. Do any here I know what a keystone is? |

aether (OP) User ID: 28218601 United Kingdom 01/19/2013 07:14 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | aether a thought has been bashing around my head about the trauma based amnesia suffered. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 32561969 Could it be that own demise was perceived as a whole, and shock ensued, a type of aetheric ptsd. mankind in amnesia Immanuel Velikovsky called this book the "fulfillment of his oath of Hippocrates - to serve humanity." In this book he returns to his roots as a psychologist and psychoanalytical therapist, yet not with a single person as his patient but with humanity as a whole. After an extremely revealing overview of the foundations of the various psychoanalytical systems he makes the step into crowd psychology and reopens the case of Worlds in Collision from a totally different point of view: as a psychoanalytical case study. This way he shows that the blatant reactions to his theories (which are still going on today) have not been surprising but are actually inevitable from a psychological perspective - which equally holds for those who have defined our view of the world. At the same time he is able to reclassify the theories of Siegmund Freud and of C. G. Jung by finding a common basis for them. A journey through history, religion, mythology and art shows the overall range of the collective trauma and gives us - the patients - a message of extraordinary urgency and importance for the future. One symptom of this collapse of order is the lament that servants are leaving their servitude and acting rebelliously. Quoting: observation[link to en.wikipedia.org] [link to raseneb.tripod.com] |
