I have been thinking about that since you mentioned it a few days ago.

I believe you said the archons were of animal countenance, while the aeon were serpentine waves.

Or something similar.

I found that curious at the time and have been contemplating it since.

Archons?

hmm

I avoided talk of archons for the last year. As I am completely at a loss as of what to define them 'as'.

I am under the impression they may be a bit like the humonoid cylons from Battlestar Galatica?

Seems everyone has their own opinion of said.

1dunno1

In contrast to the reason for the original Cylons' genocidal mission, religion is the primary motivation of the Cylon race in the re-imagined series.

They consider humans to be sinful and flawed creations who therefore do not deserve to survive. In the original series the Cylons, an aggressively expanding empire, declared war on Humanity because they intervened on behalf of a race of beings called the Hasaris who had been enslaved by the Cylons and who had sought the aid of the Colonials.

In the reimagined series universe, the term Cylon stands for Cybernetic Lifeform Node.

From what I understand, could have it all wrong, is that they are half of a whole and because of that in order to live they are soul eaters. They were the 'gods' that walked the earth long ago and wanted the people to worship them. They were good at first, but because they weren't whole they turned not so good. But this is just my opinion
