My Irish grandmother and her two sisters both worked in the cotton mills, she told me they worked from dawn till dusk and sometimes their fingers would bleed...then she laughed and said 'but it was alot of fun, we always found things to laugh and joke about', we worked very hard, looking back it was some of the best fun I've ever had. She said they got upto some serious mischief.

Funny how situations like that can bring us closer together and make the very best of what we have in bad situations.

I believe she contracted turburculosis (sp?) something to do with the cotton which later caused her health complications when she was in her 60's.

what made her message noticeable was the build up to the message

about 12 months of negotiation through intermediaries (Islamic) culminated in my being requested to attend dinner in the house of this man (intermediary) and his family

a man in the 12 months i had got to know quite well and had noticed throughout the 12 months of meetings 2 of is many daughters would often sit with me on the topic god
the same 2 daughters
remembering this is a traditional sunni family so the topic god is not unusual but to be always the women holding the conversation with a non muslim man (me) was

i spent far longer talking to them than i ever did to him

arriving at his house for dinner , a home i had frequently been to , it was noticeable the atmosphere was different and being ushered into the dining room by his wife and daughters i was met by a women sitting at the head of table and the man who`s table it was sitting to her left
this was the women i was to meet and throughout the dinner it was clear she was the boss of sunni men in sunni men`s eyes

at the end of dinner i was taken to another room by 1 of the 2 daughters and this women and it was at the end of that private meeting she told me about the ice as i was leaving

it left me with the impression whatever may have been on my mind , it was important to this women to tell what she did

she used the word Atlantis, not civilization
again not a word i was expecting from sunni islam

she was a suffi



i imagine my utilizing her today prompts affects in others because she is of affective personality by nature

nothing we are experiencing prompts gravity to alter as it has in our past
