many patterns are so different there is no matching process known

more patterns of unknown process are being discovered all the time

this led to the shocking conclusions that the process we believe cause the patterns here on earth are local patterns only thus the process must be local in their application too

thus all that we know is only relevant to within 150 miles of earth
after that distance
what we know
does not occur as we know it
