Thank you Gene Ray Burn Indeed it would. One of the reasons why the trilogy they made wasn't so good. By the third movie when Venom jumps in the scene they literally screwed it up portraying our hero as some kind of Emo, lol. Nus |

This had led to the coinage of the term "Plasma Universe." Quoting: Los Alamos[link to public.lanl.gov] our mechanistic belief that all is mechanical and the way to discover how our machine universe works is blow it apart and then fit the pieces back together from high speed photography of the exploding parts thus seeing how the inner mechanisms work is the only reason we experienced the study of plasma by explosive experiment same principles utilized by cern to this day the fact it made a useful weapon is a convenient cover story Last Edited by aether on 02/16/2013 03:48 PM |

In my opinion, that show was little more than extremely graphic violence coupled with lewd sexual depravity...Each scene more grotesque than the ones before it. The swing back and forth between the two with little more than a breath in between. Even with my headphones on, I could still occasionally see the screen, which required me to either prop my laptop a little higher, or pull my head down a little lower. Mind poison. Its Spartacus, I apologize for anything with the video, I was watching it when the posts came up and I thought I should post it, I didn't embed it exactly because I thought someone might not like it. It is indeed extremely graphic, altough I have watched the entire series so far.. It has evolved with more storyline and less sexual content now but that content is still the thing that annoys me the most. I'm ok with the violence depiction, other than that it pushes things too far. Last Edited by 1908247 on 02/16/2013 04:26 PM Nus |

Showtime series I think. I don't know. I just think that it must do something awful to the Mind to be sexually stimulated with long scenes of graphic group sex, then led directly into bloody violence like you can't believe. I looked up once, to watch a sword slice the face of a man, then slowly slide down and off his skull. Disgusting. Difficulties strengthen the Mind as labor does the body... ~Seneca |

I looked up once, to watch a sword slice the face of a man, then slowly slide down and off his skull. Disgusting. i know i have met many in position of social authority that crave nothing more in fantasy thus are drawn via pornography strangely maybe , in every society our civil servants show a higher preference towards bdsm expression than any other social grouping In the 13th century, a group of Roman Catholics, known as the Flagellants, took this practice to its extreme ends. The Flagellants were later condemned by the Roman Catholic Church as a cult in the 14th century because the established church had no other control over the practice other than excommunication. Self-flagellation remains common in the Philippines and Latin America. Quoting: observationSome members of strict monastic orders, and some members of the lay organization Opus Dei, practice mild self-flagellation using an instrument called a "discipline", a cattail whip usually made of knotted cords, which is flung over the shoulders repeatedly during private prayer. Pope John Paul II took the discipline regularly. St. Therese of Lisieux, a Carmelite nun of late 19th-century France who has now been declared a Doctor of the Church, is an influential example of a Catholic Saint who questioned prevailing attitudes toward physical penance. Her view was that loving acceptance of the many sufferings of daily life was pleasing to God, and fostered loving relationships with other people, more than taking upon oneself extraneous sufferings through instruments of penance. However as a Carmelite nun, she practiced voluntary corporal mortification. Because practices such as starvation, sleep denial and flagellation are known to induce altered states, flagellation may be used by religious ecstatics and mystics as part of ritualistic practices or ceremonies to achieve unusual states of mind [link to en.wikipedia.org] i don`t like it |
