I am not familiar with aakasam temple design, but why do you say one would be horizontal?

Thinking aloud here, so bare with me.

8 cardinal points - bi-directional flow
1 horizontal - no bi-directional flow
1 in/out (up/down) - they are not the same, in my view

I see it as this:

8 cardinal points - (each has bi-directional flow)
1 in/out - bi-directional flow
2 up/down - bi-directional flow

what does it even matter? we are shooting beams into space not to protect us from huge space rocks, but to harvest them, how fucked up is isthat?is
