thinking about it
if the smallest number that exists in nature is 2
which is true
something never becoming nothing is no longer an anomaly because there is always something existing for it to divide into

Re: X Marks the Spot
In Buddhism, the universe comes into existence dependent upon the actions (karma) of its inhabitants. Buddhists posit neither an ultimate beginning or final end to the universe, but see the universe as something in flux, passing in and out of existence, parallel to an infinite number of other universes doing the same thing.

The Buddhist universe consists of a large number of worlds which correspond to different mental states, including passive states of trance, passionless states of purity, and lower states of desire, anger, and fear. The beings in these worlds are all coming into existence or being born, and passing out of existence into other states, or dying. A world comes into existence when the first being in it is born, and ceases to exist, as such, when the last being in it dies. The universe of these worlds also is born and dies, with the death of the last being preceding a universal conflagration that destroys the physical structure of the worlds; then, after an interval, beings begin to be born again and the universe is once again built up. Other universes, however, also exist, and there are higher planes of existence which are never destroyed, though beings that live in them also come into and pass out of existence.

As well as a model of universal origins and destruction, Buddhist cosmology also functions as a model of the mind, with its thoughts coming into existence based on preceding thoughts, and being transformed into other thoughts and other states. [link to en.wikipedia.org]

It depends on what standing definition you are using. To my ascriptions that which is no thing is bound by being all things.

As infinity is something we cannot comprehend stretching through all directions. Even in finite space, that with no discernable beginning nor end is infinite.

we can say that because the two words exist, no and thing, to sequence that way
but sequencing words is not always practical meaning
why do we need to imagine no thing as being something
what is the motive to desire nothing to be something
i never see the motive

In transition as being the only constant. There is continually nothing recognizeable except for that which we weave together to give the narrative linear context.

Thusly we birth ourselves and that before us.

Everything is the essence of the lesson we teach ourselves.

I've been having fun on this thread.

Thread: Why does my nine year old daughter suck so bad at math?
She's in third grade and she SUCKS at math. I spend hours talking her through basic arithmetic. It is SO frustrating.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 26682771

What kind of parent goes onto a Public forum to "Slam their 9 Year Old daughter"?
 Quoting: biscuits and gravy

I think she was asking for help. That I believed she received.

Dyscalculia...

Get her tested for Dyscalculia.

Very much like dyslexia but with numbers...

Dyscalculia (also called math disability or numlexia) is a specific learning disability involving innate difficulty in learning or comprehending arithmetic. It is akin to dyslexia and includes difficulty in understanding numbers, learning how to manipulate numbers, learning maths facts, and a number of other related symptoms.

Although math learning difficulties do occur in children with low IQs, dyscalculia also affects people from across the whole IQ range

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 34852959

Does it matter?

Many professional physicians have not heard of this diagnosis. I didn't believe it existed until I saw it for myself first hand.

It is very real and due its obscurity is often over looked. Children whom have this disability may be shamed without knowing that it is very much like dyslexia. It is a disability of the brain.

But one where the holder can have an average or even above average intellect.

I would be willing to bet that there have been a few who have read this and resonated with it since I posted it.

More than a few.

This came into my knowing today and just wanted to share.

Happy Birthday Jean Erdman, noted dancer/choreographer, widow of Joseph Campbell, as well as Founder and Chairman Emeritus of the Joseph Campbell Foundation. Jean, seen here dancing with JCF President Bob Walter in Honolulu last May, is 97 today.

"A ritual is the enactment of a myth. And, by participating in the ritual, you are participating in the myth. And since myth is a projection of the depth wisdom of the psyche, by participating in a ritual, participating in the myth, you are being, as it were, put in accord with that wisdom, which is the wisdom that is inherent within you anyhow.

Your consciousness is being re-minded of the wisdom of your own life.

Jet Streams
Feb 21, 2013

Astronomers continue to ignore electricity in space, opting for outdated ideas about gravity and heat.

Recently, astronomers from the Harvard-Smithsonian Center for Astrophysics announced that our own Milky Way galaxy is expelling enormous jets of gamma rays from a putative supermassive black hole residing in its nucleus. In 2010, twin funnels of gamma ray emissions were detected above and below the galactic plane, measuring 65,000 light-years in diameter.

According to conventional cosmological theories, black holes are formed when a star with a mass approximately five times that of our Sun uses up its thermonuclear fuel and collapses under the force of its own gravity. Because the equations that describe gravity can be manipulated in irrational ways, some solutions imply that such a large star can contract into a zero volume containing nearly infinite inertial mass. Astrophysicists have contended for years that black holes are real and that their effects can be observed, although they are invisible to detection..................

it is Sumerian (Mesopotamian)

It is a mystery as to who invented the very first wheel. Credit is given to the ancient Mesopotamian culture of Sumer in about 3500 B.C. This is where the oldest known wheel has ever been found. It is believed to have been invented much earlier, however. [link to uk.answers.yahoo.com]

that is interesting cos i nearly posted this on your thread pi but did not yesterday regarding lion of Judah

this is:
Aquatic - Enki - Sumer - Zoroaster above Tree of Life - Persia
[link to www.bibliotecapleyades.net]

3/30/2012 6:47 AM
now you are asking the same as I was asking yesterday...just a different entity...who are the real hebrews? From what I can tell atm, we have to get to know the ancient hebrews...just imagine getting 1000 years before Christ...lol shit, I would have a hayday with that info!
 Quoting: ac

funny enough i have never been prompted to discover whom the hebrew`s are because they arrived as a name so late in our history it never seemed important
but
thinking about it
as their stories still effect us
maybe that was not my cleverest decision tounge
 Quoting: aether

what do we know
we know their belief formed them into a collective (tribe) and
their belief paralleled Zoroaster
the bebrew belief is that god is invisible (non material) thus the sky gods (visible planetary gods) worshiped in their region for thousands of years are the nutty gods whom enslave and harm mankind
the hebrews were deists as in: all communicate with god by nature thus dogma and structure that existed to communicate to god within is wrong because it originates from sky god worship
they walked into Canaan to achieve autonomy to express their unpopular of the day belief
to survive opposition from regional powers following their establishment of autonomy they needed an alliance with a regional power and their prophets suggested the royal david bloodline of Judah, a Canaanite blood line and principality that agreed with their belief thus the lion of judah become their protector
the hebrews maintained the belief they were directly by ancestry from our golden age and there would arise a person with information to explain it`s loss thus how to regain our golden age lifestyle
this is the messianic prophecy
the prophecy being now connected to the bloodline of judah reads
when a non hebrew agrees (awareness) with the hebrew belief our golden age will arise
this translates to practical power, as in the past, the hebrews are never strong enough to impose their belief thus always need a powerful believer outside of their tribe to form their belief into universal belief
strangely maybe but this translation of their belief fits modern discovery and all global beliefs except the belief that god once formed as a man
the global belief that god can and will never form as a human is simple true because of the structure and function of our non material and material universe
if you are something (material) by default you are not god
 Quoting: aether
