I agree, "keeping knowledge" is ridiculous, and IMO one of the worst intellectual crimes. Simply because exposure looses potential. As, we cannot expect experts to be the sole arbiters of what is an intuitive/emotional understanding. In tracking informational flow, we see that Ideas are reintroduced by the fixating fascinations of the geek. As they cause them to follow the scent trails of a thing into the past with no regard for dominant systems. Thus: The geek shall inherit the earth
