And the horn/trumpet brings me back to the asterisks that were in the cylinder!
Interesting, cuz today after waking up my mother gave me something regarding music lessons here in the neighborhood (spelling) and the teacher was called Gabriel, when I looked at it I instantly remembered the angel
Quoting: 1908247 Like stars, bouncing around? Quoting: Azeratel Axo no, like these craved in the cylinder [ link to upload.wikimedia.org] but I believe all 8 points were the same, I'm not sure if they were straight or if they had the trumpet format Quoting: 1908247 They remind me of that fan symbol you posted a week or so ago, which we also found on the peacock image. I believe we found the symbol to be cuneiform. [ link to karenswhimsy.com] Quoting: Seer777 Look at the first symbol for God. It's 2 'X's'. Looks like an asterisk. [ link to www.examiner.com] Interesting. Quoting: Seer777 An asterisk (*"little star") is a typographical symbol or glyph. It is so called because it resembles a conventional image of a star.
In English, an asterisk is usually five-pointed in sans-serif typefaces, six-pointed in serif typefaces, and six- or eight-pointed when handwritten. It can be used to censor out swear words or objectionable text.
The asterisk is derived from the need of the printers of family trees in feudal times for a symbol to indicate date of birth. The original shape was seven-armed, each arm like a teardrop shooting from the center.
Fluid Mechanics
In fluid mechanics, an asterisk in superscript is sometimes used to mean a property at sonic speed [ link to en.wikipedia.org] Quoting: Seer777 Quoting: Seer777 Yes I'm sure there is a Summerian or Akkadian scroll that has those stars on it, trying to hunt it down.....its a specific one that relates to something.
