Babalon Working and Marjorie Cameron

In 1946, Parsons and Hubbard participated in a work of ceremonial magic known as the 'Babalon Working'. In simple terms, the Babalon Working was a ritual to summon this Scarlet Woman. Paul Rydeen writes:

The purpose of Parson's operation has been underemphasized. He sought to produce a magickal child who would be a product of her environment rather than of her heredity. Crowley himself describes the Moonchild in just these terms. The Babalon Working itself was preparation for what was to come: a Thelemic messiah.

Crowley, who lived in England at this time and had little say over the matter, disagreed strenuously. Though he had never met him, Crowley had no love for Hubbard and considered him a con artist.

Almost immediately, he met Marjorie Cameron right in his own home and regarded her as the Scarlet Woman and the fulfillment of the ritual.

Parsons, Hubbard, and Cameron then proceeded to the next stage of the Babalon Working in which Cameron acted as Parsons' magical sexual partner with whom he could sire a Moonchild. The creation of this Moonchild had been previously covered in fictional form in Crowley's novel Moonchild. Parsons ended the ritual by declaring it successful.

A physical child was not conceived, but this did not affect the results of the ritual.

The A.A.; is a magical order that was created in 1907 by Aleister Crowley and George Cecil Jones after they left the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn. The acronym, A.A.;, has been assigned many meanings ). The order is a Thelemic magical fraternity, the goals of which are the pursuit of light and knowledge. Its motto is: "The method of science, the aim of religion." The holy book of the order is Liber AL vel Legis (in English, The Book of the Law).

While the A.;A.; is not part of Ordo Templi Orientis, O.T.O. does consider the A.A.; to be a close ally

Babalon's Daughter

Crowley also had a vision of the Virgin Daughter of Babalon, which he published in his The Vision and the Voice, Liber 418 vel Chanokh; and also, again, in The Book of Thoth (1944, Part Two, Appendix, p. 143), under the description of The Virgin Universe:

Finding that bit about 'Babalon Working' set off a tsunami for me last night.

Yes. I know for a fact because I began being having fully conscious interaction after I 'asked' (that is put very briefly) for conscious remembrance of contact. The first night that happened was on Dec. 21, 2007. Then, two nights later on Dec. 23, 2007. Ongoing from there they visited many times throughout about the next 18 months, but for some reason I did not want to write down the experiences. I have never gone through hypnosis to try and retrieve more memories.

I believe it has been life long, but prior to me asking for conscious remembrance of contact, the memories are more dreamlike, but, I had 'proven' a couple times that it must have been 'real'. Don't forget, I have a twin brother, so some of the older strange ET like experiences (missing time, etc), I was able to verify because my brother would agree that something strange was going on during certain periods in our lives.

I miss the excitement of visitations as all contact had stopped going on about 18 months now. Grey contact stopped about 3 years ago. Literally, the first time Mantis came, Greys never came again.

According to Crowley, the story began on 16 March 1904, when he tried to "shew the Sylphs" by use of the Bornless Ritual to his wife, Rose Edith Kelly, while spending the night in the King's Chamber of the Great Pyramid of Giza. Although she could see nothing, she did seem to enter into a light trance and repeatedly said, "They're waiting for you!" Since Rose had no interest in magic or mysticism, he took little interest. However, on the 18th, after invoking Thoth (the god of knowledge), she mentioned Horus by name as the one waiting for him. Crowley, still skeptical, asked her numerous questions about Horus, which she answered accurately supposedly without having any prior study of the subject:.............
