Quoting: Aluna reconciling present participle of rec·on·cile (Verb) Verb 1.Restore friendly relations between: "she wanted to be reconciled with her father". 2.Cause to coexist in harmony; make or show to be compatible. ~Webster I used that in the context in the process between making sense between logic and emotion...reconciling the two... i`m hovering over this the notion to reconcile could never exist if experience of failure does not already exist i see no other sequence leading to reconcile Funny when you think about who would actually be concerned with such things as acceptable failure rates...programmers and such...creators... Quoting: Aluna Interesting train of thought there... Testing out humanity... good afteroon more basic maybe self aware environment = natural risk assessment i got to say that thought /z\ does not fit your thinking it fits a controller personality which i know you do not possess "schemers trying to control their little worlds. Quoting: observationnobody panics when things go according to plan. even if the plan is horrifying. because it`s all part of the plan" do you know one of these /z\ oh it could be a personality that only imagines reconciliation following it`s victory no win no deal yes that personality can never be wrong sorry if this is sounding nuts it`s not about specifics as such, it floats around environment topics of the years delete if it feel right to do so |

Seer777 Ride the wings of the mind User ID: 36652066 United States 03/23/2013 07:38 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good morning everyone. I just saw this and wanted to share... Parable of the Butterfly Quoting: RaXz A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared. He sat and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body through that little hole. Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as far as it could, and it could go no further. So the man decided to help the butterfly. He took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily. But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time. Neither happened! In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a swollen body and shriveled wings. It never was able to fly. What the man, in his kindness and haste, did not understand was that the restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through the tiny opening were God's way of forcing fluid from the body of the butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved its freedom from the cocoon. Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our lives. If God allowed us to go through our lives without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would not be as strong as what we could have been. We could never fly! I asked for Strength.........And God gave me Difficulties to make me strong. I asked for Wisdom.........And God gave me Problems to solve. I asked for Prosperity.........And God gave me Brain and Brawn to work. I asked for Courage.........And God gave me Danger to overcome. I asked for Love.........And God gave me Troubled people to help. I asked for Favors.........And God gave me Opportunities. I received nothing I wanted ........And everything I needed! It is ridiculous to think that these tree remnants are 50,000 years old. And this is a big warning to those people who follow the carbon datings to constuct a catastrophic timeline. Quoting: observationWhat is paticularly disturbing is that a supposedly 20,000 years ago site may be further back in time than a supposedly 50,000 years ago site. Ancient local conditions probably determine the carbon isotope ratios. Really the ash from past volcanic eruptions give us the best hope of determining what went before this eruption and what went after. Then throw in the catastrophic assumption that a lot of volcanoes went off at the same time, and maybe we can start to get a useful timeline. |
