Pasco, Richland and Kennewick are located where the Yakima, Snake, and Columbia rivers converge. The Tri-Cities area, since its early history, has always been an agricultural region because the land features make it an ideal place for the cultivation of crops. The warm weather, the flatness of the land, and the nearby river system which provides adequate and reliable water source. The Tri-Cities of Pasco, Richland, and Kennewick is living proof that nature and man can live together in a relationship that is beneficial to both. The unique geographical elements of the Tri-Cities area was never deterrent to the growth of the region. In fact, it is the weather and the lay of the land that made this town prosperous.
