It's an interesting idea for sure. One I was considering myself some weeks ago.

However, I am not sure it would work on other than a type of battlefield scenario with opposites 'sides' with both being in visual and physical proximity to one another.

Essentially, I wondered to myself if these fighting men engaged war, were all suddenly under the spell of orgasm simultaneously.

It would drop everyone to their knees at least. What if it lasted longer than a minute, two?

Once everyone realize what happened, would the fighting continue?

Just a musing...

well if there was a "weapon" to induce it then it wouldnt be very effective. at least from my experience because when it happens to me I can either go with it or stop it.

if I chose to let it go, sometimes it literally goes from head to toe. I may be more sensitive though, most people say its just head and back experience.

also dont get it when I am in any type of mood, I only get it when Im allready somewhat calm.

ASMR is often triggered by someone playing with your hair, touching you softly on the back, or experiencing deep empathic emotion elicited by another, something seen, or heard.

Male or female matters not.

The waves can last for seconds or minutes depending. Pi is seems, has stretched it into something a bit longer.

However, it might not be the ASMR response you are feeling in that regard pi.


The 'bliss' can often feel like that...but better. As ASMR's often creates as shiver and goosebumps in its wake, which can make one feel cold.

I get it overlooking vast distances. It pushes you to heights.

I am sure there would be embarrassment initially, then perhaps a round of high-fives and back slapping thereafter.

no idea what promps each of these peoples suicides but I can say that had I been forced into that situation I would prefer suicide to murder but I doubt thats the common thread here.

I get it often. Several times a day. The stimuli is often varied.

I can engage it myself as well. The 'shiver' can look quite extreme and to an outside observer...

In my opinion, suicide is a result of deep hopelessness.

Control in chaos.

Chaos which is often self imposed, hence the guilt as well.

Having no hope that 'it will get better' drives one into a pit of despair, which having felt those depths myself, it does feel like there is no way out.

However, holding the hope and KNOWING that it will get better, and that 'this too shall pass' can give one the legs to stand...when feeling defeated.


If I may, what is your hour there? I often find myself wondering if you are 2 or 3 hours ahead of PDT.

On another note...

I have been experiencing an upsurge in something recently and I thought I would ask if anyone else is experiencing it.

Essentially, whether reading or listening to music, I will find myself thinking about something else and I will then happen upon the exact word at the exact time that I either glance on a page or is mentioned on the song.

It happens several times a day for over a week now.

Really hard to explain.

It is completely random. It seems.

on walks newspaper headlines , posters, advertisements prompt feedback of topical topics all the time
yes, thinking about it our environment has enlivened considerable in that manner

Good morning, happens a lot to me too now.

Just the other day I was reading from you about the white feather, then a white feather floats past my face.

As I was reading about the asmr, I was experiencing it and literally do for most of the day at the moment, thought "hmmm what is that" so googled it and lol after seeing you are all talking about the same thing I have and can control.

Often radio is coinciding with thoughts, like I am being answered through media, wildlife, nature, the whole environment is replying to me.

The new book I am reading the one I mentioned before, has people in it called the Seanchan their leader is taught from child hood to look for omens, so the wind will blow a dead rat across the street means danger, 2 crows flying low means this or that.


These shamanic way's are returning, maybe they have always been there, and it is just us seeing with new eyes.

Or as aether would say, scaling up, yet it is happening on the other end, the environment is getting louder.

Also to note, ha forgot, I was going to post about it, and I read you already have.

Been experiencing similar for some time now, like Boitata trying to communicate, I went to the forest to meditate to ask what and why the communication was taking place, what does he want/need or why is he trying to communicate.

The answer was 'goddess/gaia'.

But I'm still pondering if it means the 'thing in itself' (mother earth) or I get a feeling its the 'interface'(medium) which makes kinda sense as it is feminine and receptive.

Is all communication/media/the word feminine?

I feel I'm in the right ball park but I haven't found the ball lol

In one of my first obe's I got wrapped up in a plant like thing, like the head of a flower it had a soothing femail voice and embraced me very tightly like being in a womb, it felt loving, then it transported me somewhere else which is to long to convey on my phone. Think that might have been her upon further consideration.
