Not saying it is but I'd look into Scopolamine, they use the alien thing as a cover to mask the memory.
Quoting: songwaves 37737277 Damn, I hope it's not that! Yikes! Geez, that's saying someone is REALLY fucking with me. It acts like a truth serum too. I'm surprised you brought up such a thing, songwaves. Under the drug, both men denied the charges on which they were held; and both, upon trial, were found not guilty. One of the prisoners afterwards confirmed House’s hypothesis: "After I had regained consciousness I began to realize that at times during the experiment I had a desire to answer any question that I could hear, and it seemed that when a question was asked my mind would center upon the true facts of the answer and I would speak voluntarily, without any strength of will to manufacture an answer.’
The CIA says: Enthusiastic at this success, House concluded that a patient under the influence of scopolamine "cannot create a lie" Because he said the drug ‘will depress the cerebrum to such a degree as to destroy the power of reasoning’. ... there is no power to think or reason." Quoting: Scopo [ link to digitaljournal.com] Quoting: Septenary Man Hey Sapt, Sorry its taken me a while to catch up with the thread today. Why you surprised I brought it up? As for scopolamine, think more in terms of a hypno-narcotic, you've seen those programs where people are hypnotised and they eat onions or think their a chicken, that is the suggestive state of the mind, but it generally produces a chatty drunken kind of feeling. Easier to pop those trigger commands in (you see how that kind of mind control works eh). I suspect it surpresses the memories below the consciousness level but you can access them if you have er...different cognative abilites or are drugged again they can be recalled. A truth serum yes, you can bend the truth enough (which is kind of like a lie) so bad info, and it is possible to think and reason, but you have to access it in a different way. One of the most evil drugs on the planet imo. Quoting: songwaves 37737277 You suggested the possibility of someone/s using ' the most evil drug on the planet' on me, then planting ET suggestions. I would think that suggestion would 'surprise' anyone. Quoting: Septenary Man Really....hmmm...because I would have thought it was more of a logical conclusion.
