I will be much more open to this type of reasoning once women start taking the role of 'asking out'. So basic, so ingrained, yet so troublesome for soooo many men, rarely so for women, due at least in part to the inherent ego boost provided by 'taking the man's role'.

I cannot even think of a single role in our society that is dominated 'ideologically' by men.

Let's face it: half those men are there to either impress the wife, or because the wife ordered them to bring home more bacon.

The other half are most likely relatives to the powerfully-positioned people.
